That is Zen's wonderful collection, not mine, but you can buy a new Provari 2.5 on their site now for as low as $34.95 on the Specials page and for $49.95 regular price, which is a steal of a deal considering the quality and they once sold for over $100. These are regulated mods though not mechs.
Didn't Pro vape used to sell some fof $150 and over?

Considering the work horse they are $35 is a steal.

I just don't want to USS anything less than an 18650 and a provari with an 18650 is just too darn long in my opinion.

If i had two functional hands i mah feel differerent.

Just an update on an order that I placed for E-liquid from a Canadian retailer, Happy Vaper, on the evening of Monday, June 6th.

The package arrived in my mailbox on Saturday, June 11th. The name of the retailer on the package was stated as H/V, a very good thing come August, and the nicquid was reported on the customs manifest as "flavouring". I do believe we may be good to go on this option for awhile. That is, if they are not scared off by any possible legalities.

Glad it arrived safely.

Recommended gauge, Yiana? I was thinking 16 and of course 26. Wanna get it before the sale ends. Will get a lot. Hubby and I will need to split it in case we get separated. BTW, LA Police Gear has an awesome BOB with lumbar support and fantastic compartments. We have one. It weighs about 5lbs, but so worth it. Unfortunately, I have back problems and had to return mine. But, if the shots I'm receiving work, I'll buy again. Outstanding. I tried it on and wow, just wow. LA Police Gear Operator Backpack
I use 25, and 26 on attys with Post holes
Many screws will cut 28 gauge wire easily, then 28 gauge on my Kayfuns.

When my 28 gauge wire is gone i will use 26 in my Kayfun.

Wire gauge depends on what kind of coils you build, ie ID, # of wraps, target resistance, etc. Are you building for a RBA or trying to recoil some protank cartridge. Are you building for TC control? Lots of variables.

I would buy small quantities until you know what your preference is, then buy a big spool. I just bought a 1/2lb spool of TI 26g as I "know" that is what I like in my builds.

Given your circumstance, that is what I would do.
Agreed. Use up the internal battery mods first and prep mods with replaceable batteries

Side note. There are vids teaching to rebuild the Nautilus coils if they want to stick with the Nautilus or switch to RDAs or RTAs.

Also, wire will still be around, there is not the same sense of urgency to get wire as there is to get nicotine or whatever. Temco is an industrial source and resistance wire is used in LOTS of different things that have nothing to do with vaping.

Sadly she is in California, I am in Georgia. If she were close enough, even hundreds of miles I would gladly go weekly and set her up. 2,800 miles is a little much. Heck I would even fly a couple times a year if she expressed any interest
I found a guy at a vape shop right down the street from her that listened to my story and agreed to help. This was over a year ago before this scare. I got her to agree to go in. He showed her how to change a coil in a pro-tank and how to work it. Showed her a spinner, and an MVP. She walked out with nothing and called me and said I just want to pop a cig in my mouth and light it and not have to mess around with all that nonsense~

I may be overstepping mg bounds but maybe yoy should go there on vacation and help get her started. Then with days of time she will not be so intimidated.

I don't know what Jim G will do after September when i move up into the mountains of AZ.

Jim is an 86 year old Korean veteran. He is the one that is using my last 4 ozs of nic.

When stockpiling buy what you KNOW that you like. Otherwise you just end up with a pile of stuff that you will never use.

    Agreed for sure.

I also research what I could use the stuff I never use for before turfing it.

As an example, I had 30ft of 30ga kanthal that was going to be turfed as it is too thin for me to work with. I realized I could do a two strand twist on a drill and I am using the twisted 30ga on most of my new builds. Kinda like a poor man's Clapton. I love the stuff and just ordered 250ft from Lightning Vapes.

    Thanks for the suggestion. :)

I recently bought 2 more 2.5's (already had 2 and 2 radius) and didn't even take them out of the box. Figured I'd break them out when/if needed in the future. I will now use them for a while, just to make sure.;)
Don't forget the 1 year warranty on Provaris.

I am rotating thru all 10 or so Provaris I own that are still under warranty on a regular basis. Older ones get put away.

They did. I *think* I paid around $150 for my SS Mini that went wonky on me. Yes, $35 is a steal. I even consider the $50 ones to be a steal considering past prices. So I bought 4 more to add to the 2 I already had. Since I mostly use mechanicals anyway I figured 6 total would be a good amount of Provaris for the long haul for a little variety here and there. And......then I figured out that I have a $28 store credit at Provape. Can't leave that laying there , now can I?:p

This is not directed at Provari really, more just a general question. I have a boatload of Evolv products, and Evolv has always had a great warranty. But what about moving forward?

How will Deeming affect warranty repairs?

Does that qualify as a "change" to an ENDS product requiring a new PMTA?
What if it is now a new firmware version?
How many companies will close the doors & the warranty goes bye-bye.

New firmware requires a new approval process. that is clear in the Deeming regs.
Repairs that just put it back to original operating condition should be ok. But no upgrades or new approval required.

You think the FDA is going to have an Illegal Vapeware Software Update goon squad? What, are they gonna have the NSA pull ALL U.S. emails with the words Vape and Firmware in them?

    Really? Seriously?

Specifically, "Component or Part" means "any software or assembly of materials
intended or reasonably expected: 1) to alter or affect the tobacco product’s performance,
    composition, constituents or characteristics;

This for example makes Escribe firmware updates illegal unless the update has FDA approval.

Really though, as I posted elsewhere:

I "suspect" that at some point in the near future, bulk nic will be limited to only those with a "Resale" license.

Nic is the bottleneck, without nic none of the hardware matters. Choke off the nic supply and you choke off the entire industry.

I suspect that will be one of if not the first thing the FDA will take control of.

This for example makes Escribe firmware updates illegal unless the update has FDA approval.
The inevitable result of deeming, should any open system device actually gain approval, will be the end of software updates. Even safety related updates.
