I actually quit looking for the perfect topper for me when I found the SMOKtech ARO ll. It is a single coil bottom fed clearo. I think I have enough of them to last for the rest of my life specially since I have only had to toss one since I started using them a couple a years ago but how can I pass up a sale where I can get them for about a buck 50 with the sale that is going on over at GotVapes right now. summersavings gets you 40% off everything but e-liquid and if you sign up for their newsletter you get an extra 5% off your total order. The thing is, they are already marked down to a good price so the coupon is just icing on the cake.

I am having a fight with myself. The devil on one shoulder says, go for it and the Angel on the other says, you have more than you will ever use. The coil heads for these are so simple to rebuild and I have a ton of them already so am good to go there. I also have one of each color of the mini Trophy tanks and several of the mini davides they sell and they use the same coil heads.
I have igo-w's and igo-l's for drippers and a couple more RDA's and bunches of pro-tanks. I am a low watt (10 or less) , MTN (mouth through nose) vaporer and use 1.8Ω coils. I have the battery holder end taken care of and if push came to shove Hubby can build me what ever I might need in the future. I have all the nic I could ever use with bunches left over but my weak spot is the toppers I love. I just counted my ARO ll's and I have 35 of them already. It is a mixture of all the various colors.

I am wondering if I am ever going to feel completely finished and prepared for whatever happens
Woman, get off your .... and start stockpiling! You have more than I do but I'm working on it. Had a long talk with my husband last night and decided peace of mind was just as important as being stocked up. Going to add some to what I've thought I'd need to be comfortable and extra in hopes that I'll be able to help some others. HE made me realize I was too focused on practical and not enough on piece of mind.
I have to choose between immediate access to running water and adequate ventilation as I do not have access to both in the same area. I am choosing ventilation. Running water is pretty close at hand though. I plan on wearing gloves. I have 2 liters I'll be transferring to 120 mL bottles. Not looking forward to it.
You'll do fine. First time is always the scary one, after that it's a piece of cake. Willy's water idea is excellent! Keep in mind the nic will be thicker. Keep pets and kids out of the room. Might want to have a wet paper towel on hand since the water isn't right there. You will do fine. Breath. :)

You are Correct. A Drop's Volume depends on Size of the Dropper and the Viscosity of the Liquid.

Drops are actually Very Accurate from Drop to Drop. But if a person uses a Different sized dropper from batch to batch or using the Same amount of Drops per ml for say VG as for Flavoring, that is where the Problem occurs.
My biggest inaccuracy would screwing up the count....... Syringe, or a scale (if you do the density math), is so much easier.

I was a bit shakier than usual the other day when I rebottled mine. For the very first time since I started working with nic I actually got some 100mg/ml on my hands. I just set the bottles down grabbed a paper towel and wiped off the bottle and then rinsed my hands off. I did make sure I cleaned the outside of the bottle and the counter that got a bit on just to be safe. Gloves might have been a good idea for me this time but I really am not worried about getting it on me but do wash it off as soon as possible.

The clone RBA's I listed were fine. Parts mix and match with the originals just fine. Look like they were made from the same batches as the authentic.
I did buy original gasket sets.

Those look like the same bell caps that I got.

Stockpiling Q: What's a Nautilus user to do?

I have plenty of mods (I think) and I'm slowly building my nic supply. However, I'm stumped by the tank/coil issue. It's too darn expensive to stock up on many years worth of pre-made nautilus coils.

I'm a MTL user, and from what I've been able to digest, a Kayfun Lite tank might be a good, rebuildable option for me to hold in reserve. My questions are:

1. What tank do you recommend for me?

2. If a Kayfun Lite is recommended, even a clone, I cannot find them in stock ANYWHERE. Links to in stock options?

Also, I'd be happy to know how other nautilus users are handing their supplies and any other recommendations ....

Thank you!

Okey Dokey, will do :lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

Sounds like you've got yourself a keeper there

I agree. It can be intimidating at first but once done I hope to hear @Vandal say "Oh my, that wasn't nearly as hard as I was afraid it was going to be.

I just looked at both of what you and YT listed for bell caps....they seems to have different mm size ie. 39.2mm(Roberts) vs 37.5 mm YT's. Which one is correct?
Thanks
:)

I would Always suggest doing what one Feels the Most Comfortable with when it comes to DIY.

For Me, I like to Dilute 100mg/ml Nicotine Base into what I call "Pre-Mix". And that is roughly 6mg/ml 10% PG | 90% VG Unflavored. I'll use either a Scale or a Graduated Cylinder to do this.

That way I don't have to Constantly have to work with 100mg/ml Nicotine Base

Then to make Flavored e-Liquids, I take the Pre-Mix, pour some into a 60ml Bottle and then just add Flavoring and Sweeteners via a Scale or Drops. I end up with a Flavored Mix that is around 6mg/ml and around 15% PG | 85% VG.

I found early on that I Didn't need the Accuracy that Syringes may yield. Because I Couldn't taste the difference in small variations to the mg/ml or Flavorings. And there is Much less to Wash by using a Scale and or Drops.

What I'd like is a product that limits the minimum fire voltage of a mech.

I've never had any issue with safe-builds, or shorts. My only concern with a mech is that, with my build, I can run them anywhere from about 4.5v on down to like 3.0v, on my regulated mods, depending on my mood.

I'm always afraid that I am going to vape on down past the min-voltage, and not realize it. Something to stop it firing below 3.2 or 3.3v would be awesome.

I may have to look into how to build one. A couple connection pads, and a PNP transistor, maybe?
You can tell when the battery is low by the way it Vapes

Ok got some short stops and kicks now I need a mech mod, how do I know what will take a kick or short stop? Is one mech better than another? I would like something with closed off firing button option, do they all have bottom firing buttons? I know nothing about these. Oh and vent holes, I want vent holes :) Thanks for any help!

heres a question I think many of us have after reading this thread:
how many drops of 100mg nic do I put in a 30ml bottle to make 6mg juice?
Also, do I have to purchase my gallons of nic base in big drums? I'd prefer a bunch of small bottles, I dont' want to have to transfer it, one accidental splash and i could be kilt.
www.steam-engine.org has a juice calculator along with ohms law. Also if you have an android phone there are a number of applications also
