I have put in an order of 250ml of 100 mg nicotine from Myfreedomsmoke. Seeing as I am in Australia I have heeded the warning on the shipping info page about international orders.

If my 250 ml order arrives successfully I will order 1 litre. I didn't realise nicotine was so cheap and its a good form of insurance against the Deming regs.

Another reason I am venturing into DIY nicotine is that now in Australia some good vape vendors are starting to stock good quality juices from America. They sell them with 0 mg nic as laws in Australia do not allow anyone to sell nicotine products.

I have never messed around with nicotine that strong so I am a bit concerned.

Can someone tell me what kind of glass jars do you use to store your nicotine in the fridge and how large is each jar? Are you stocking in 100 ml jars or something smaller? What sort of lid do you have on these glass bottles of jars? Would mason jars suffice? And doesn't glass crack in the freezer?

Any advice would be appreciated.

TEMCo has a new website, but it is unresponsive at the moment. Use discount code "temco10" (applied in the cart view page on the right hand side) and you will get a 10% discount from anything you purchase.

This is for 1lb of SS 316L it's only $32.98 on their original site, but would be 10% less on their new site. My suggestion is to try the site later in the evening. I'll send them an email. They need more RAM and a faster processor at least on that web server.
Cool find.I checked their site the other day and i don't know what i did wrong, but when i searched for stainless it said no results found haha. That seems like a great price for SS even without the discount. That's what i've been using the last few months, and i paid like $8 for 15',without the discount,Temco has a pound of the 26 g i use for $37,and says it has 1468 feet, that breaks down alot better than what i bought before haha.

Question though how to get the nic out of the bag if it has really really small shards of glass if the bottle does break...using a Syringe?

I've been freezing nic purchased every month in a GE refrigerator since Sept, 2015. No issues to report

For some reason your link takes me to a thread on evod USB chargers and I can't find a post about storing nicotine.
That is very strange. When I click on it, it takes me right where it is supposed to :( Try this How I store my nicotine | E-Cigarette Forum and if that doesn't work for you just click on my avi over there to get to my blogs.

I got moving on this in the past week. About $250 worth of stuff. 2x 125ml Myfreedomsmokes US Light (if anybody has recommendation on flavor concentrate that makes something near to MFS US Light I would be sooo grateful), 1 liter 36mg nic in PG, for $30 bucks!. I will get two liters out of that as I vape at 18mg. 3 boxes of Aspire BVC coils. 1 eleaf I stick 30W (my wifes like them. She has used her first one every day for a year and it keeps chugging. I got two OLA X Hero 30W mods, with removable 18650's. Probably pick up a bunch of those. Another pack of Aspire BVC coils, 2 mini BVC nova tanks, 2 BVC nova tanks, and 5 more 5 packs of BVC coils. I have two cool fire mods on hand (I think 30W - no cloud chaser here, just someone glad to be puffing on ecigs going on 7 years after smoking for 37...), My wife has her istick, we have maybe 3 tube mods hanging around - first gen Volcano when VV just started. Two mech mods Nhaler 'mini'. I don't know, if stuff is available for a while, I plan on at least a dozen liters of 36mg, A liter or two of flavoring, 50 mods or so, between 100-200 tanks and over 1000 coils. I can always get 18650's, chargers, PG/VG, damn, better lay in a couple hundred drip dips too. Is freezing NIC is preferred over refrigerating?

THERE MAY BE A HUGE MARKET CONTRACTION IN THE US: Don't forget what these FDA regs will do is to cannibalize the existing market. Very few of us are on ECF or similar sites. If 75% of the market goes away within 2yrs due to a contraction in sales or supplies(for whatever reason), then you are not going to be able to get vape goods very easily. Manufacturers and mom and pop retailers may not be able to afford to stay open because they will not have a mix of goods that are attractive to create sales. Reasons for not being able to stay open can be as simple as: the PMTA effects too many of the goods sold by a retailer - who does not even (mix or manufacture) and the remaining goods do not turn a profit.

Save what you can and buy wisely for long term use. If it's $50 or $100 spend it wisely.

Not to debate this but, I've spent 3 times more (than $500) stocking up. Easily. I'll keep right on going until the products disappear from the shelves or become unavailable. If new products come out, I'll buy them if they're worth it, but I doubt they will be much better than what is available right now as long as we shop wisely.

To ME, $500 total would not be enough. 10 to 20yrs of vaping is a long time and I'm buying everything that I can.
Yeah, I figure at least a couple grand to get set, long term.

If the market wants 150 watt temp control devices and the best tasting juices and there is $100 million dollars to be made, there is no doubt the post deeming reg market participants will do everything to bring that product to the market.

You do realize that the market is worth several billion dollars right now if you include everything being sold to vapers yet right now the FDA is going to cause any product not on the market in 2007 to be removed from the market.

You've already heard of the "deeming" regulations and the tens of billions that are going to be added to the bottom line as a GAAP line in the tax forms (GAAP is Generally Accepted Accounting Principles followed by all CPAs who must follow US Tax law), and the expected modifications in mission statements to of ea and every business globally selling vaping products in the USA. These statements will be modified for the 2016 taxes, as ea public co is expected to estimate sales moving forward.

Based on these facts, I'm afraid that what you are saying is completely false.

I am out of town, and will be home tomorrow evening US Central Time. There are places that you can buy high quality glassware at, but I do not have the links.

100% of my orders are from Nude Nicotine for Armor v2, which is shipped in lab glassware, amber bottles, for long term storage with argon topping off the bottle.

I have more than 1 gallon US, which I started to collect in Sept 2015, all in bottles ranging from 125ml and 500ml, 100mg/ml.

I do not suggest anyone buy a plastic bottle of nic and then divide it up for storage in mason jars. If you've somehow gotten HERE and are looking for suggestions, then I suggest you buy the amber lab glassware (bottles) with special drippers, and a bottle of argon gas from a local liquor store...and spray the argon in to the top of the bottle, just beforte you seal it up for the next 5yrs.

On August the 8th, 2016 these rules go into effect right?

So if I try and order my favorite juice from an online retailer on August 9th, what happens?
I read the deeming regulations and it's very clear to me that WE won't be able to do that because of what the FDA is indicating.

But here and on the street, I hear different things, all hearsay in my opinion.
"We have 2 more years to buy stuff."
"Sellers are gonna have the 0-nic juice and they sell you a vial of nic and you add it."

Even the local vape shop says that there's nothing the FDA can do and he's going to continue selling his juice and devices until 2017.

The FDA rules are very clear, on August 9th, any shop whether online or brick and mortar will not be in compliance with the FDA and will be operating outside the law.

Please correct me if I'm wrong.

But on August 9th, will I be able to get some juice and a mod as easily as today?

Vape gear will be a tobacco product on 8-8 and most all vape shops will have to be licensed as a tobacco retailer or be in violation of state laws.
At least most places.

Kind of fun sitting back and reading about what others are scrambling to acquire. I am Glad people are thinking and even happier I already thought.
Gets me out of your way and reduces competition for the critical purchases.

Not to freak anyone out - Not going into Doom and Gloom - and hoping we will still salvage something from this through well presented litigation........however.

FDA is Clearly BRAGGING about Readiness and operations in place for Boots on the Ground come Day 91<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< Now, that sounds a LOT like a threat to me. Just saying!
This is my #1 Serious Concern:
Practically Every state in the Good old USA has Tobacco Vendor Licensing Regulations.
No business may Sell Tobacco Products without acquiring these License.
Violation can in many cases cause immediate Closure and possible Arrest for Criminal Violation of State laws. Again, just saying.
Now, Day 90 all is good - Day 91 any violators are at risk.
Advise your Local B&M's to check State Regulations!!!

This may well fall right in line with First order actions as in No Sales to Minors, Age Verification, Proper Warning Signage, etc.

Do Not get worried of Panicked, just work Smart to prepare wor the worst and hope for the Best.

No one needs a dozen Mods or 10 gallons pf PG tomorrow.....or short term. Invest in Best choice Tanks/RDA's and extras for parts, Nicotine, nicotine and a little nicotine.
Only shop extras that are a good bargain saving cash for the necessities.

I probably have enough from spending $1,000 to support 10 people for 10 years if needed and that breaks down to my old Smoking habit for 2 months.:thumb:

Many people in my area are not aware of ALL the regulations. They believe the 30 second snippets on the news, thinking these are just a set of guidelines for sale to minors.

They don't understand that on day 91, there won't be anyone, local or online, with anything vape related to sell.

I guess that gives us, the paranoid, a chance to stock up.

I'll wager that as it gets closer to day 90, people will start to get the idea but it will be too late to stock up.

I've just purchased enough tanks, my favorite juice, a couple of mods (cheap) and replacement atomizers to last me 2.5 years.

I think everyone should do the same.

Come day 91, lets see what happens but I can feel it in my gut that it's best to be prepared.

A number of smoke shops in my area have added vaping equipment, and a larger chain has gone into it pretty deeply. As they already have their tobacco licenses, they may end up being the b&m's most likely to have vape gear throughout the 24 month window.

As much as many of us looked down on them as sources, they may be the salvation for many unprepared vapers. They also seem comfortable stocking and selling gear which is on the edge of legal for other purposes, so they may show us the way to vaping gear survival for face to face business.

Pretty ironic.

Maybe I am completely daft but that second link still takes me to the evod USB charger page. Maybe it's a Tapatalk issue. I will try on the home PC tomorrow.

How I store my nicotine

I purchase my 100mg/ml nic in 1 liter bottles. As soon as I get it I transfer all of it to smaller glass bottles. I use mostly 120ml blue or amber glass bottles but also have some 60ml clear glass bottles and some 250ml and 500ml amber glass in there.
I fill to within 1/4" from the top and cap tightly with poli-cone caps.
I then wrap each bottle with aluminum foil--No light is going to get through that.
Then wrap each bottle with bubble wrap to prevent the chance of breaking one if bumped.
Then comes my vacuum seal food saver.
I put 1, 2, or 3 bottles in a vacuum seal bag (depends on size of bottles) and then get all the air out.
no air is going to get through all of that :D
And there you have it. Sounds complicated but really isn't.

My oldest nic was purchased May 2012. I removed a 500ml bottle of it just last week and it was still as crystal clear as the day I got it. I kept 60mls out for use and transferred the rest into smaller bottles. wrapped them up and put them back in the freezer. There was no noticeable difference in smell, taste or strength either. It was about 3 1/2 years old. Only time will tell how it will hold up but I expect it to still be as good as new 10 or more years from now.
