Even multibillion dollar space shuttles needed tweaks after the billion dollar design effort.Trying to find the good in these Regs.....
Maybe the quality will be much greater than anything we are use to seeing.
If a company wants to release a new device, they will need about 3 months of research, spend at least 300K testing the device before submitting it for approval. This process sounds like it should eliminate flawed devices or devices that fail after a few weeks or months of use.
I'm sure cost will go up, but if I had the money back from everything that has failed.....you see the point.
Thoughts?
It is more likely that the cost of updating will result in poorer quality products and that might include safety defects.
