Thankfully most of the makers are Chinese and they couldn't give a flying damn about the FDA.

And it would be a minor issue for the government to stop/seize shipments from China containing "contraband".

I don't think all of them are informing customers of the effects of the Deeming Regs, and they will be in for a nasty surprise.

I'd wager a good chunk of those B&M's don't even know about the deeming regulations, and will be in for an even nastier surprise when the government agents show up at their door.

On 8/8, most e-cig stuff is deemed tobacco. The states will enforce this as a way to get their (exorbitant) tax money.

I don't see states that until the deeming rules a week ago couldn't Spell e-liquid being fully ramped up with the taxing, paying and enforcing in 60 days. Not gonna happen.

Northern NJ native , Coastal NC now.
Tried v2 and nowhere near enough for me.

It didn't have enough airflow for me to take even a restrictive Lung hit.

I may have had a flawed base buf v3 works perfectly for me.

Man you must like massive airflow then if the V2 was restricted , the V2 to me is very similar to a wide open Subtank , no joke .

That being said there are a lot of different Monster V2 bases .

You need to pay more attention to the Legislation Forum. There are already rumblings of tax increases as state governments salivate at the possibility of increased revenue.

MINOR issue??

You cannot be serious.
How many millions of pieces of LEGIT non-vape mail do you think is coming from China?
They would have to x-ray every single piece or start training sniffer dogs to smell machine oil. LOL.

Did you not read where Fasttech already uses a Person's Name and street address as their return address on vape mail?

BULL.

No Way is some maybe gonna happen U.S.A. FDA ruling going to stop the rest of the world's top vape manufacturers from pumping out new stuff.

Thankfully most of the makers are Chinese and they couldn't give a flying damn about the FDA.

I would, if I had money to bet, bet that there MAY be only one change to the current situation until at
least the end of this year. That being that U.S. based vendors will probably ask for a scanned copy of your ID or some other form or age verification. And, I don't have a bit of any problem with that.

In the US NO new product can be sold without being aporoved by the FDA.

Here in CT, they are meeting TOMORROW to discuss new regs in light of the deeming. And as they did with tobacco, they can go back and get records from the retailer, then send you a bill for the State taxes due on past purchases. Here is how they go about that:

Tax Analysts -- States Tap Into Tobacco Vendors' Customer Lists to Pursue Back Taxes

I really REALLY hope you are right, but I'd much rather be prepared.

As I was in the "transport" biz for a while, yes, the government could easily decree that shipments be checked and seized. And if you think a "false" return address will sneak an item through.......

There are already efforts underway to scrutinize more shipments coming into major ports. You under estimate the deviousness of our government and the lengths it will go to.

Its easier than yoy think. Uss a metal detektor to pick out packages with Stainless Steel. Use a dog to sniff ouf nicotine.

Open random packages when contraband is found record the persons name and scan every parcel that person received.

They did a great job of keeping vape gear out of Singapore

How about shorts? I bought half a dozen of those "2 cent" fuses at a time when I was considering getting a mech, but I never ended up getting one. Any experience with these fuses? Do they actually work?
Yes,they work great.I had an incident a year or so ago, where i dropped my tube mech, and when it dropped,it made the coil move and touch the chimney.I didn't think to check it,but as soon as i hit the fire button, the fuse blew and would not allow the mod to fire.I had to replace the fuse, but that was better than venting the battery.

There wont be any new products after 8/8.2016.

Focus only stockpiling things likely to go away.

Mods
Attys
Coils
Nicotine
Flavors for eJuice. Don't use Loran oils. My GOD is that stuff NASTY.
Possibly wire.

If you have obsolete gear list it for sale on eBay etc.

You may have sone gear you wouldnt be caught dead using but you may have the very thing Someone else wants.

Look around at all the people who prefer to use swuonkers, mech mods, old Kayfun, Orchid, etc attys.
I understand that new products could not legally enter the U.S. market after 8/8/16. My question remains though, why stockpile now, rather than two years from now. A lot could happen in two years, injunctions as a result of law-suits, Cole Bishop passing, new legislation etc... I am just as upset as most people with the FDA overreach, but i'm not convinced yet that the sky will fall on 8/8/2016.

There is no way possible for our abysmally slow and underfunded government to make this HAPPEN in
60 days.

PERIOD.

However i hope for the best and prepare for the worst.

Yes I did - only two days as I'm in the same state! Everything came in boxed and fresh, plus a sample of their Jade Tiger juice.
Thanks you. I went ahead and ordered two of the EhPro Kayfun Lite Plus tanks. I already have two of the same tank except in V2 and really wanted to find a black and stainless version. Got them now.

Simple.

A. Then the stuff you want to prep may not be available at any price.

B. May cost 3-4 times as much.

Have you ever gone to the grocery STORE after the weather predicts a massive Snow?

All of the eggs, milk, bread and convenience foods are GONE! As if the store has not been stocked in 7-10 days.

If you don't want to prep till the last minutes be my guest but will not have much compassion when a $15 Kayfun clone is selling for $60 or more.

On 8/8/16, vape products become tobacco products. Federal edicts aside, some states (apparently including mine) have laws that tobacco products may only be purchased in person, not online. What worries me is, even if an online vendor decides to sell to me, will the credit card company approve the transaction? And, if so, will the vendor make the sale without a photo ID provided by me? Some vendors are already saying they will need the ID starting on that date.

Online purchasing has the potential to be problematic. Perhaps everyone will just turn a blind eye and things will continue as they always have. I cannot take that chance.
