@DebiK - Thanks!

I was just putzing around the other day with some of my stashed old stuff and pulled out one of my new Mega attys & a tank. Gave them a try & rediscovered that wonderful, true-flavor, vapor they provide. Thought to myself, yeah, I could easily live with this instead of going back to smoking in years ahead. Just wanted to remind others they also may want to "rediscover" that old school stuff can still be great, too.

This may totally horrify some of you, but when I'm at home, I still enjoy dripping using an old school short LR 1.5 ohm atty. I have rba's and rta's, but sometimes I just don't want to fuss. I'm off to search out these .50 deals, I pick up a few packs every time I see them on deep discount.

It does not matter how someone Vapes or even if they do. The important thing is staying off of the smokes. :)

Feeling pretty smug and self-righteous, are we? I'm sorry that it "ticks you off" when people don't follow your orders to a t, but no one should be forced to build their own coils or make their own juice. Not everyone's mechanically inclined or wants to go through the whole rigmarole, (esp when it comes to juice). Calling everyone who didn't start 10 months ago "idiots" is offensive, and ridiculous.

Whatever happens, I won't be going back to coffin nails. I'll use snus or simply suffer through cold turkey first.

Would you direct me to the Post where i called them idiot?

Myself and others have been saying prepare because the FDA was HELL bent to destroy vaping.

I wrote an extensive Post where i told them an Investment of $500 could get mods, RDAs or RTAs flavors and nicotine base. And they could vape for years.

Most of us have experienced "flavorless" at one point or another through vaper's tongue. It's not as pleasurable as a good flavor, but it does the job.

You're right, it'd be much more productive to offer solid advice rather than saying "I told you so! Now you're screwed, I hope you like smoking! nyah nyah nyah!" :pervy: ..from atop a stockpile. The other guy seems more interested in that, instead of helping those who aren't "survivalists", though.

Whatever. At least there are plenty of more helpful members of this forum to consult.

I have been helping them ever since signing on ECF.

Posted plenty of messages how to get more use of their gear.

Wrote detailed reviews of the Kayfun nano, Goblin Mini. Orchid V3, Silverplay, Silverplay Nano, and others

Taught people how to rock a single coil on a dual coil RTA.

A detailed list of gear that was likely Yo be pulled off the market, and how a $500) Investment would let them vape for years

That is helping

You don't like the tough love necessary. Fine. I have the hide of a Rhino

If the FDA isnt pulled in check some gear msy go away in as little as 3 months. This may be their last chance to prepare.

I was telling them don't come crying to me when their vape or gear runs out.

I haven't started stockpiling anything yet besides buying juice in larger quantities. I want to wait until the last moment to purchase the mods and tanks I want if necessary. If as suggested, this doesn't really kick in for two years.. I want to be stocking up on newer equipment. I would rather not be stuck with antiquated gear during the e-cig apocalypse. ;)

Here ya go:

The thing that ticks me off are the idiots who say " but i don't want to rebuild or DIY Juice.' i hope they like smoking.

If they had gotten off their butts and prepared 10 months ago they could have saved a LOT of money.

I saw sales where a liter of 100 mg/ml nicotine for $24.

They didn't prepare and they have to pay the piper.

Sound familiar, or are you going to continue playing childish games? Y'know, it shows character to be able to admit when you've made a mistake, rather than just pretending it never happened.

<--- this guy is stocking up on both VW

I begged VW to release their recipes in a worse case scenario cause I am horrible at DIY. I have the supplies for DIY, but my juice never tastes the same as VW. The assured me that they weren't going anywhere no matter what. But I'm still going to need those recipes if they're wrong. ;)

I don't have to go hunting the globe for exotic cotton either, nor do I have to get into all different kinds of wire or temperature control. To me a genny is about as basic as it gets.

I really don't think organic cotton and wiring is ever going to be in short supply or in danger of being snatched up at customs. They have applications in far more things than just e-cigs.

I've wondering what a realistic life expectancy for a regulated 18650 mod is. 2 years? 4 years? If they will work for 3 years on average, I've got enough.

I have a pair of 18650s that refuse to die. They still hold a full charge after 3.5 years with no sign of external stress. Obviously that is not the intended lifespan. Just a freak of nature.

Our cotton is primarily used for cosmetics and the wire is for welding. never going to be rare or even tough to get from reputable sources. heck, most of us have stopped buying cotton packaged for vaping a long time ago. 12 bucks will buy you enough Koh-Gen-Do to last half a lifetime when purchased correctly.

I agree, batteries could last a long long time. I also believe mods, regulated or mech, could last for decades properly cared for. Solid state electronics just don't fail that often.

Correct. Wick and wire aren't going anywhere. Those are the wrong things to focus any stockpiling efforts on.

Thank you for posting that. I was frustrated and did not remember typing that.

Fair enough, and thanks for admitting a mistake made in frustration. Happens to me more often than it should. I withdraw my criticism.

If you are stock piling for an inordinate amount of time - 20/30+ years. Boxing electronic devices could backfire on you if they just sit without being periodically used... I guess if you store them in a vacuumed / hermetically sealed container you might be alright, but who is going to take that extra step...
