And while we are all trying to figure out exactly what we need to stockpile before these deeming regs go into full operations there are some things we can do to try to slow them down or even better, try to get them changed. I know, wishful thinking but if we don't at least try then they win without firing a single shot.

If you haven't already, Please take a moment to read and sign this petition and once done you may want to take a few minutes to watch this short video that lets us know exactly what we are up against.

Make sure they are water based and NOT oil based. There are two types.

Yep! I'll be trying it if I cannot access flavors without an EIN, Federal Tax ID for small businesses in the US. If I do this, I'll be coming to them with an explicit list of flavors, brands, etc.

What makes this petition any different than the dozen or so we submitted before this? Nary a peep about those.

At this point I believe petitions give folks a false sense of "I did my part" just to feel good about themselves. As of today, May 17, a week after the regulations have been registered, petitions serve no practical purpose.

1.) Call your representative (Yes, "Call" or visit if possible. Don't cower behind the keyboard). Support the Cole-Bishop Amendment.

2.) Save a few bucks (whatever you can spare). Watch the vape organizations and be prepared to donate legal fees when the dust settles and a plan is formulated (soon).

You could be exactly right. Both your 1.) and 2.) suggestions are very good too. The best thing about signing this petition is getting updates to what we are up against as they happen. I see that as a very good thing.

BTW: Have you read this petition? If you have and have signed it. Thank You.

Kind of fun sitting back and reading about what others are scrambling to acquire. I am Glad people are thinking and even happier I already thought.
Gets me out of your way and reduces competition for the critical purchases.

Not to freak anyone out - Not going into Doom and Gloom - and hoping we will still salvage something from this through well presented litigation........however.

FDA is Clearly BRAGGING about Readiness and operations in place for Boots on the Ground come Day 91<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< Now, that sounds a LOT like a threat to me. Just saying!
This is my #1 Serious Concern:
Practically Every state in the Good old USA has Tobacco Vendor Licensing Regulations.
No business may Sell Tobacco Products without acquiring these License.
Violation can in many cases cause immediate Closure and possible Arrest for Criminal Violation of State laws. Again, just saying.
Now, Day 90 all is good - Day 91 any violators are at risk.
Advise your Local B&M's to check State Regulations!!!

This may well fall right in line with First order actions as in No Sales to Minors, Age Verification, Proper Warning Signage, etc.

Do Not get worried of Panicked, just work Smart to prepare wor the worst and hope for the Best.

No one needs a dozen Mods or 10 gallons pf PG tomorrow.....or short term. Invest in Best choice Tanks/RDA's and extras for parts, Nicotine, nicotine and a little nicotine.
Only shop extras that are a good bargain saving cash for the necessities.

I probably have enough from spending $1,000 to support 10 people for 10 years if needed and that breaks down to my old Smoking habit for 2 months.:thumb:

And.....

https://www.ttb.gov/tobacco/manufacturer_products.shtml

so if you make eliquid, coils, mods, tanks, drippers or any of the things the FDA now considers a tobacco product... I have to believe (I could be wrong but I doubt it) this will pertain to you after 90 days along with a state permit/licence to sell tobacco products (even for those who do not make anything) As of 2015 11 states had already passed legislation requiring a license to sell e-cigarettes.
State licensing and zoning (and in some cases also city or county) are two of the most lasting strategies to impact the density of tobacco retailers, the types of retailers that can sell tobacco, and the location of tobacco retailers and you must obtain a license for each retail location you own or operate.

I haven't gotten in to DIY (until now) because I can have a satisfying vape using pre-made coils, and commercial juice. Why complicate things?
Beyond finding a couple of rebuildable atomizers that I like, and (maybe) stocking some nic base, I really don't see any reason to do much more. Most DIY supplies (VG/PG, cotton, coil wire, even batteries) AREN'T going away. They have too many uses that the FDA has NO jurisdiction over. Are they going to deem model airplanes a tobacco product? How about automobiles? See a big push to ban theatrical fog machines?
I have 3 regulated devices, ONE of which has removable batteries. I'll have NO problem converting any of them to work as mech mods, if/when I need to. Project parts from my local electronic store, are all I'd need.
BTW Can YOU turn a replacement tank glass from 318 stainless? I can.
Stop being so rude.

I recommend 3 Rebuildable attys, 3 mods, 3 liters nicotine

I also recommend getting wire abd flavors

Everything there bur maybe wire will go away.

You can flavor tge eJuice with Loran oils.

I tried that. Never was able to get a good flavor i sweetened the Praline flavored Juice four times and never got a flavor i could vape so i recommend people buy real flavors while they still can.

You can get 500 feet Kanthal for $30 or less.

Flavorings will be OK, you'll just need to figure out where to purchase them. PG and VG will be OK, they are used in many different applications outside of vaping.

6mls X 12 mg/ml = 72 mg nic per day
72 X 365 = 26'280 milligrams per year
26'280 X 5 = 131,400 milligrams for 5 years

131,400 divided by 100 mg/ml = 1,314 ml of 100 mg/ml

1.5 liters should do it.

Thanks for the formula. I just estimated mine, too

Ok, thanks! I do use sealed bags with a silica packet inside.
I would use the silica packets but I ate all mine.

In a freezer bag with a silica packet should work nicely for protecting your hardware.
