Gonna buy 30 years worth of nic in the next 6 months, damn the cost. By the time I run thru that, I will be nigh on 80. {moderated} it, then I'll smoke...
Pardon the ignorance. I'm either working, outdoors, or in bed. What's going on? I know they raised the age from 18 to 21 - I'm 29 - here in this debt abyss that is California (will be leaving soon before I get trapped), but what's the short version of all of this FDA talk? I don't have the money to stockpile anything so if I need to rob a bank please let me know.

If there's an EMP, where you gonna git your electricity from?I put three mods in a Steel ammo case abd wrapped the mods in crepe rubber just in case of EMP.
Tge mods were stored without batteries.
When it comes to storing liquid nic, oxidation is the enemy.
- Exposure to oxygen causes nic to oxidize so transferring liquid nic into glass containers is a must if longevity (>3 years in storage) is a goal. Oxygen can't permeate through glass but can through plastic. Glass Boston round bottles with poly-cone caps are ideal (most premium e-juice comes in Boston round glass bottles). Choose a size that provides you about a 6 months nic supply that way you can pull just what you need from the freezer when it's needed. Fill each bottle so that there's a minimum head space to reduce the amount of air trapped/sealed inside, the small tapered neck on Boston rounds are ideal for minimizing head space/trapped air. Be sure to label the bottles with content and the date stored for stock rotation.
- Heat causes nic to oxidize, placing nic in a freezer greatly slows oxidation, the colder it's kept the slower it will degrade. Neither PG nor VG will freeze solid at the temperatures a residential freezer is capable of generating they just get very thick like syrup. Unlike water neither PG nor VG expands at these temperatures so glass containers are perfectly safe to use. Even so I place my stored bottles of nic inside plastic storage trays in case I somehow manage to break one while inside the freezer, any spillage would then be fully contained.
- Light (UV) causes nic to oxidize so protecting nic from direct light is required. Most people use opaque (colored) glass bottles for storage and use. The inside of a freezer is dark which eliminates UV degradation so clear glass bottles would work just fine for storage but once a bottle is removed for use it would then need to be protected.
- Since liquid nic doesn't freeze solid, once removed from the freezer it doesn't need to be thawed. However, since both PG and VG are highly hygroscopic and will pull/absorb moisture from the air, ice cold nic should be allowed to warm to room temperature before opening the bottle. Otherwise condensation would rapidly form and be directly absorbed.

I see no one has answered your question.Pardon the ignorance. I'm either working, outdoors, or in bed. What's going on? I'm just going to drop a Public Service Announcement here.
I've noticed that there has been a lot of (don't do as I am doing but I need to place the example) F' this or similar in posts. This is not allowed.
Nor is using symbols in place of letters to get that same message in under the forum censor.
I get that we are all frustrated. O.M.G. So VERY frustrated with what is going on.
Thanks for listening![]()
^^^ Exactly!People are starting to scare me...
Please Store smart and DO NOT Break your Bank trying to buy up Decades worth of things that should never be touched by Regulations.
Good, well educated people are working to correct this massive mess of likely unconstitutional Crap.
...
I may never use them, so why to spend more than absolutely needed
Why?Some ask why, I ask why not.![]()
