I don't understand why anyone would be reluctant to stockpile, particularly nic base. I started vaping in mid-December of 2013 (the day before I joined ECF). Four day later I had my last cigarette. Two weeks later, I decided there was no way I'd ever let the goobermint take this miracle away from me and ordered my first liter of 100mg nic base. I've bought another liter every few months since then and will keep doing so as long it's available at a reasonable price from reputable sources. Sadly, I don't think that's gonna be for a whole lot longer.
I look at it this way: Even if Congress or the Courts slap down some of the most onerous provisions of the Dooming Regs and the vapestuff we know and love remains available, I think it's almost inevitable that the juice and nic base will end up getting taxed at levels comparable to traditional tobacco products, which means it will be far more expensive to buy later rather than sooner.
I remember sering something that some state. Wanted to tax 2ml ejuice the same as a pack of cigarettes. There in AZ the tax is. $2 a pack.
If that person was right there would be $10 taxes tacked onto a 10 ml bottle ejuice.
I can sorta understand why they get scared of nic base.
I cannot understand why they keep paying $2-6 per coil that doesnt last very long maybe two weeks.
I wrap my own coils.
Each coil lasts 10-13 weeks and costs me about 1.5 cents
I rewick every 3-4 days.
My coils and wick fof a year of vaping is only about $1.25.
They pay $26-$150 a year for CONVENIENCE. I pay $1.25 a year and don't find it inconvenient at all.
Spending 12 -15 minutes wraping and installing my 4-5 coils, and two minutes every 4 days to Dry burn tge coil and insert another wick.
The reason i understand them being scared of nic. They see 100 mg/ml nicotine and assuming it is 100% pure nicotine.
