As I understand majority of users buy their vape at Walmart or gas stations. cigalikes and such. They will be hit with higher prices. That's all. They are accustomed to price hikes on cigarettes. C'est la vie, nothing new for them.

I did start with a cigalike and within just a few short months I had discovered the egos. Vaped on them for quite awhile, then got my first 20w istick and nautilus mini and the rest is history.

I get what you're saying though...when I first started I bought one from a gas station, then got the mystic from walmart with the cartridges because it seemed cheaper than blus and they tasted more like tobacco to me for some reason. That got expensive really quick. They totally lie about how many puffs are on there. Once I found egos the cost dropped dramatically and it really helped me stay off cigarettes. But yeah, cigalikes are just expensive as smokes. So I can't imagine people getting started on those after the fda regs kick in when they will be even more expensive. I don't think people will try it.

Get used to it. More and more companies will, in all likelihood, follow suit. I'd much rather have to provide ID and sign on delivery than provide a copy of my license or other form of ID and send it in to the company.

Me too. I absolutely do not feel comfortable providing my ID/driver's license to a company online. That's a great in for identity theft from a hacker. And didn't I read where they may have to keep them for two years in case the feds want to do an audit so to say?

You should listen to your wife.

Funny.. That's what she says...

<your wife's voice> Even if the sky Does fall on vaping, and it's NOT going to, it's going to be quite sometime before you won't be able to get nic. (Unless your state decides to go on the nic warpath which none have started.) If you'd wait the next 2 yrs before you'd even really need to get the nic, with the electric bill money you'd save, you could Pay For ALL the nic Or the freezer. <your wife's voice/>

A 1.1 cu ft freezer costs $26 a year in electricity, so if you nic level is small enough the math might work. Then again nic might be triple the price by then.

The 5.1 freezer energy star sticker estimated $21/year. I can definitely afford that to protect a few hundred dollars of nic

So, maybe it's time to stockpile some 510 connectors, along with the nic and mods, maybe a chip or Twelve, and some enclosures?
I just picked up a 1/2 dozen for my regulated Mod's. Best advice? Get some mechs and learn how to build for them and mech safety. It's not hard, very simple but yet extremely important rules. But easy to follow.

Mech's are pretty much bullet proof if you get the quality ones.

You keep ignoring the fact that it is very likely states will start eliminating online sales of vape supplies and/or cc companies will refuse to service vape orders. And there may be little or no notice . Most of us don't live in Florida where you ASSUME it won't happen. This will start Aug 8.

Sorry I have no idea how this applies to my point which is 7x0.5 MM threading is not used exclusively in the ecig industry. Joyetech did not "invent" 7 x 0.5 thread.
I work in a custom build shop where maching is done, among other things. I'm not a machinist. Taps and dies for the 510 threadiing are available but it's not "standard". You are unlikely to find fastners in that size stocked by anybody. That thread size might be used for custom jobs. The threading on our mods and atomizers is done on CNC lathes with cutters.

What backup do you have that makes this a FACT Effective 8/8?
I don't usually ignore facts. I Often ignore people's unsubstantiated opinion that they've spun up to Factual status in their own mind.
