I just ordered 5 subtank minis and 2 more subtank nanos. They were such a good deal from bevapehappy I had to pop! I hear alot about replacement parts for tanks. .. what kind of stuff awe we talking about? I'm going to buy a bunch of rba decks so I can build. Other stuff like Orings ect. I'm not sure about.
The news about mbv not shipping to cali kind of rattled me today. I'm in the bay area. Got a feeling I need to get my nicotine sooner than August 8th. I have enough for me but I want to help out friends and would be vapers.
Im in the mental health system and 90% of us smoke. I was locked up and started smoking a pack and a half a day because there was nothing else to look forward to.
Since I started 2 years ago I've been on a crusade helping mentally ill folks quit smoking. I've given a bunch of my old stuff away to newbie vapers.
vaping saved my life and is saving tons of mentally ill people. I'm hoarding and prepping not just for me, but for my people.
I think nicotine will be A currency in the near future. I think it's amazing it hasn't been regulated and cracked down on yet. I'm filling the freezer.

I got my subtank minis there last week. 9.99 is a great deal. I also hear ya on the mental health community and smoking. I'm bipolar myself and just about everyone I've met along the way smokes. Nicotine has been proven to be helpful. I read something awhile back. Can't remember where though. Vaping is so much better and healthier than smoking and it infuriates me to no end that the fda is denying us that right to all smokers and former smokers who vape.

I don't know. I am trying to remember because I know that there were a few that RTS system would not verify back then. I just can't remember what they did about it.

I do have a friend that lives in IL and was going to place an order with GB yesterday. They asked him for either a copy of his DL or a copy of his credit card. He did not go through with the order.[/QUOTE]

That is exactly what I am worried about. These verifications are not foolproof and if you happen to be unlucky and it can't verify you, then it is cc or ID. Imagine the day hackers will have with all that important information to easily pluck from these places.

I have schizophrenia... but I'm pretty high functioning. Haven't been in hospital for 12 years. Nicotine helps dull auditory and visual hallucinations. It's true that almost all mentally ill people smoke... and spend most of their money on cigs. Ten bucks plus a day is allot when your only income is social security. The nicotine is not the problem. It's all the other crap in cigarettes. I had copd bad. Woke up 10 times a night to have a grit. Now that I vape I skeep like a baby. Mentally ill people can become healthy by vaping... which is actually more fun and enjoyable than smoking cigs. And so much cheaper!
I don't know. . I'm really passionate about it. And ...... too. Tens of thousands of my peers are going to die. Almost as bad as outright murder.
Right now I'm wor king hard to stockpile. I have the money to buy enough for a handful of folks. I'm doing my part, but I wish I could do more.
Maybe I can trade nicotine for hardware and tanks ect... I think even 100ml of 100mg nicotine will have significant value. So now I'm hoarding stuff as an investment so I can help more folks in the future.

I work as a certified specialist in mental health. Teach 'recovery' to folks based on the fact that I live it. My mental illness is depression but I work with many schizophrenics and folks with bi-polar. Out of the 50ish I have served in the last few years I do not think I can name more than 2-3 that do NOT smoke. Seems to go hand in hand. Most are relinquished to bumming cigs all day because their check is usually already devoured by whoever is claiming to be 'taking care of them' Whatever cigs they do get are gone by the first week of getting their check.
Giving someone an old school ecig makes them very happy and works wonders towards helping them move forward with either taking meds or going in the hospital if needed. I used to grab stuff like that up when I saw it on sale to pass along. Sadly that will not be happening anymore.

I am not so sure that you will be given the choice at all. My friend in IL was not with GB. He either had to provide a copy of his CC or his DL or he could not place an order. I don't know but, using public records like some vendors have already been doing all along may or may not be an option after Aug 8.

Honestly, I don't see it being an option. Anyone could lie about their identity using that method just as they could now if it is used to prove your age. I may be wrong. We shall see.

I expect that I'll trade juice (I DIY) for repair service down the road.

meanwhile...
Choose your favorite gear and stock up.
10 Steam Crave Aromamizer RTA's (rebuildable) & 4 Boreas (rebuildable)
7 Crown tanks with over 120 .25Ω coils
6 RX200's, 3 Boxer Mods, others...
Don't forget extra glass tubes, o-rings, screws etc
This is just what's on the table right now (pardon the nazztyazz q-tip)
There's boxes of boxes of gear for the 20's, 30's & 40's (if necessary) crowding this old house.

And everyone has a stealth vape right?
AIO (All In One) with 1.0Ω replacement coils

I'm right thewe with you on the crowns mowgli. Have five of those bad boys with around 60 .25 coils and will buy another 60 next month. I've got to conserve the coils so they last at least 3 years. That probably means using my 10 subtanks half the time using the rbas. My happy spot is the crown .25 on a subox at 50 watts. It's what works for me and makes me happy and not need cigs. I've got plenty of mods too.. have 5 kbox's at the back ups to the back ups to the back ups. You're right though everyone needs a stealth vape or 3. Gotta decide whether to get a few aio or ego ones. As for making juice. .. my unicorn milk clone will make me friends and will probably make me money if need be.
Thanks for the work that you do chanelvaps!! I have jobs in our local mental health system and teach classes and ruin support groups for the national alliance on mental illness. It's not easy but can be worth it when you challenge people's preconceptions about people with mental illness. Recovery is possible.

I only use the Crown when I read in bed at night and when I hike so avg. 2-3 hours/day max.
They last me a month that way. I use the rebuildables for like 90% of my daily vape.
.25Ω @ 70-75W hits the spot.
I imagine that I could extend that to 15+ years on the 120 I have now.
Uwell's main site sells o-ring packs for about $3 you know.
I bought 10 in case I run into any tank cracking juice.
The upper o-ring that's shaped like a washer for a nut & bolt tends to swell with citric juices.

That is true. Anyone could just enter someone's information in there. Didn't even think about that.

I recently watched a group of at least a half dozen underage drinkers use a single ID as each one went up to the bar and ordered a drink. Proof is an illusive concept. As is regulations restricting minors from doing just about anything.

Right but, if a vendor used the info used to order online to verify a persons age that would not even be close to the same as actually presenting a copy of an ID IMHO An actual copy of an ID would at least cover the vendors azz was my point.

ETA- Let me try and make my point a little easier to understand. It is my opinion that a physical copy of a persons identification may end up being what is required by law rather than just using the persons name and address used to place an order to verify their age by means of public record. Hope that made things a bit more clear. Sheesh.

If the govt says online verification is acceptable then the vendor's azz is indeed covered. This is not about actually effectively restricting youth access to anything.

What will your container with the 510 thread consist of? I would be interested to know what you have in mind there.

I'm thinking some kind of plastic specimen jar type thing.
I'm going to drill and tap a metal or plastic disk and glue it into the lid of the container.
The container itself would be upside down - you would screw the base/chimney combo into the lid and then screw the container over the top to protect it.
