Is two years enough time for juice makers to do all the testing? I'm going to say it is unrealistic. Especially for everything the fda wants.

The BT applications will likely set the bar ... the FDA probably consulted the 2+1 year timeframe with BT first.

The FDA reasoning being, if 2 years is enough time for BT ... 2 years is enough time for everyone.

problem is ... some folks think we have 2-3 years of business as usual.

FINALLY! Someone that speaks my language regarding an EMP! Also, prepare for a Jihad as well. Rioting of course will immediately follow the EMP. The FDA issue is being advocated strongly. But I still don't see the regulations being withdrawn or loosened much, if not at all.

I too am stocking up. I have nearly 1,000ml of juice - for now. I was told not to DIY due to special handling of the nic. I'd appreciate any guidance re nic handling. I know it needs to be done in a vented location. I am quite .... about my vape equipment/juices. Really, ANY DIY TIPS would be appreciated.

I'm just now ordering mods and parts - especially glass replacements and replacement coils for the few tanks I have that require them. And 18650s! I'm really liking the iStick Pico I just received and love my Sigelei SPARK. I'll be ordering duplicates of those as well as others. I have some smaller battery mods but they are of no significance. I have my shopping cart at fasttech at $1,200. Do I like fasttech?...No. Do they have what I want?....Yes. And I'm not pleased at all that they remove the authenticity sticker for security purposes?!? WTH??? Has anyone received an clone vs. authentic equipment from them? I converted my cart to a PDF so I can shop elsewhere and not forget anything. I will be storing like you, Two_Bears. Same security & containers.

To me and my Bug Out friends, the Jihad will most likely precede the EMP as soon as this summer. The EMP we feel will happen November through perhaps January - at which time all hell will again break loose with rioting, etc. I was told by a BOB friend to line my ammo boxes with corrugated cardboard...same with new metal trash cans. wrap your electronics heavily in tin foil, and oh, wrap with something else. Line tightly with corrugated cardboard and secure lid with masking tape, NOT electrical tape! Rubber makes sense to me though. I've also spent thousands on BOB gear and Bug In necessities. This should be another thread entirely - if permitted by Admin.

Where are you getting your rubber, Two_Bears?

You could start a thread in the Lounge.

Right because BT has all the money. They did that crap on purpose. And if anyone thinks we have two years as business as usual they are either in denial about the regs or delusional.

Ohh we can still buy food and Beverage flavorings which is what all of the flavors are except tobacco.
What we use them for is up to us as individuals.

Including tobacco. Just do a search for tobacco ice cream or tobacco flavor in foods.

I am not sure how accurate that statement is. It's the vendors who sell the e-cigarettes, hookah and cigars, that are required to provide the health and toxicology information ( as part of PMTA ). Lorann needed to divulge their formulas ( i.e. the makeup of their flavors ) for the ingredient listing requirement by Feb 2017 ( or Aug 2017, for the flavors used in the liquid small manufacturers sell ). Obviously they chose not to do that, which is not surprising. They didn't mind the extra sales they garnered from the ecig industry, but they always have distanced themselves from the industry in public statements.

I figure Lorann has lawyers and such that know just a bit more than we do on here about the legalities involved in the Deeming regs.
But have at it.

well Capella certainly does not mention that in the email they have sent out regarding this FDA issue, nor does FA or the FDA for that matter.

"For our USA customers, once the FDA Master File program is
effectively in-place, Capella will follow the procedure to file our
flavor formulations with the FDA. This will enable you to complete
your registration process."

Heh, I love tfa ry4 dbl on my ice cream. That's cool if people put tobacco flavors in their food. Cuz I don't want my ry4 dbl to go anywhere. That was the only flavor I use that I was worried about.

The second big dates come at the end of this year and into the first 2 months of next year.
Yup Dec 31, 2016 is a much more important date to vendors than Aug 8, 2016. That's the date for registration and product listing.

For the vast majority of eliquid vendors Aug 8, 2017 is the key date. That's when the ingredient listing requirements kick in. Something they can't do without the flavor providers help and cooperation. The Feb 2017 date applies to only a few manufacturers with over 65 employees. Tobacco companies, and maybe a few big vendors like Njoy, Halo, Johnson Creek, MOV etc .... some of those may not even have 65 employees.

might want to review this doc, esp the last item under Feb 8, 2017.
Not sure about the large scale vs small scale thing.

I googled it and YUCH there IS tobacco flavored ice cream!

I sadly stand corrected.
My esteem of humans drops yet another notch.
You're reminding me of my kids...so I have to say "Have you tried it yet? How do you know you don't like it?" :)

Something I have been wondering:

Does US Customs have the authority, or obligation, to enforce "State" restrictions?

For example, if someone in Hong Kong sends something that is obviously vape related to someone in Arkansas what is the US Customs responsibility?

That is a good question. I wonder.

Lightningvapes.com is having a sale for the next 6 hours - 20% off. 500 feet of 26 gauge kanthal is only $16.80. Based on my calculations, I now have enough wire for 16.81 years.

I know wire is low down the list for those materials "generally recognized as necessary" for stockpiling, but I couldn't help myself.
Thank you for posting this!

Did I need 1000ft of wire? Nope. But for just over $30 shipped to Canada for 250ft of 26ga SS and 500ft of 30ga and 250ft of 26ga Kanthal, I will never need wire again.

Add my 12 Provaris, huge box of Sally's rayon and 4l of 100mg nic, I will be able to happily vape for the rest of my life.

I think your getting a little greedy with the provaris, save some for the rest of us!
