I'm not the one that is persisting in a losing discussion by posting cryptic images.

We need to develop lists of people who have stocked up an obvious excess.
I need a link to the sign up sheet.

I wonder if I will grow to hate the ProVari 2.5 20 years from now. I guess I should plan now to pull another out of the stash by then, maybe in a different color to relieve the boredom.

I recommended that adapter in a thread back some time ago trying to help a member out, lo and behold, somebody else saw the post and got one and started using flat tops in his ProVari. One night after a few beers he accidentally inserted the battery wrong, and literally smoked the board in his trusty old ProVari.

I had assumed that folks reading it would understand and take precautions and use it safely, I felt pretty bad that info that I had offered fried a mod that had sentimental value to its owner.

He was under the influence and and dud something stupid.

From Provari's website..........................................................^^^^^^
The ProVari™ can be adjusted from 2.9 - 6.0 volts in .1 volt increments.
(Designed to work with the AW IMR high drain batteries.)
(You must use batteries that have a positive nipple on the top. Flat top batteries will not work.)
I really hate to do this, but the example shown, the 2015 Classic, does in fact accept flat top cells, and incorporates an electronic reverse battery protection. Sorry, Just wanted to be accurate on this. It's the V 2.5's and earlier that require the button top cells.

Actually...........there are a Few Reputable Vendors ON Fleabay.
Lightening Vapes - Wire/etc.
R-lsales - Batteries/chargers

I Have done business with both for a few years - not one issue
Can't say that about FatDaddy:oops:
I hear ya, I thought it was just me. Every time I would order from Fat daddy the y would leave something out that I ordered and e mails would ensue. finally the last time I ordered anything from them they didnt even respond to my email. That was a couple years ago, they may be better now I dont care will quit vaping before ordering from them again.

So, up until the Deeming Regs came out, I'd been pretty much tootlepuffing away, picking up my coils and juice once a month and going about my business. But, now I am in the process of stocking up. The thing is, I don't know what I am doing. I bought my first mechanical mod (an EHPro SMPL), along with a Kayfun Lite Plus. I've never used a mech mod or rebuilt before. How many do you think I should buy?

Also: Is there any point at all to stockpiling standard tanks and coils? I have a bunch of PBC's and TDux tanks and a year's worth of TDux coils. Should I put these in the stockpile, or just use them in my daily rig as I stockpile mechanical and rebuildable stuff? Do these standard coils lose their ability to wick and fire after awhile? I'm a guy who has never rebuilt or gotten into subohm vaping. If the FDA hadn't stepped in, I'd never consider it. I need a stockpiling for dummies guide.

Not sure that there will be great July 4 sales as expected after looking around the other night. Many vendors are very low on stock already.
I'm a little concerned too that some states may may enact taxes as of 7/1. Not sure though...

Yes^^this^^
My opinion is learn to build. It just allows a freedom from worrying about coils. Use what you have in the way of coils and watch for sales on those. There are some that think the sales will get better. Worst case scenario, as in if you cannot buy anymore at a certain point I would not feel comfortable with just one mod and one topper. They are dirt cheap at Health Cabin and right now shipping is free with $29 purchase

OK, calling @Baditude , you must understand that the SMPL is an advanced mechanical device, and should not use it until you fully understand how it works and what the possible dangers are. You MUST use an atomizer where the center pin sticks out al least a millimeter or so. Do not use an atomizer that takes factory coils on that mod. The center pin must be proud and it must be solid, not just held in place with a rubber grommet like all factory coils use.
Failure to use a correct atomizer could possibly lead to a hard short and a venting battery.

Going by your stated experience level and level of interest, I would go as far as saying, that SMPL mod is not the mod for you. Really, be careful, there is serious potential for injury if you don't know what you are doing with that mod.
