Yes.

You need to understand how many amps the battery can provide.

You have to examine the 510 PIN to see if the PIN extends well past the threads. On a hybrid mech where the Atty sits directly om the battery. If the positive PIN and negative threads BOTH touch the battery you have a dead short that WILL lead to either venting or explosion

You have to know the coil resistance and do the calculation according to ohms law to see how many amps you are pulling from the battery.

A regulated mod of a mech with a 510 threads and the connecion that isnt wide enough to contact the negative threads are a thousand times safer.
Hybrid is a PiA, I avoid them and are dangerous, not for the rookie.

Simple rules

1. Quality batteries, Sony, Samsung or LG and take care of them (applies to regulated too)
2. Single mod, build 0.2 ohms up, parallel 0.15 up and series 0.4 up
3. Keep it clean
4. Insure your coils have enough room so you don't short.

Vapers got along pretty well with Mech's before regulated Mod's came about.

I suspect the 510 threaded hybrid wannabee mods are responsible for 90+% of all battery incidents associated with hybrids. They shouldn't be in the hands of average vapers at all. Actual hybrids are typically pretty safe mechs, designed to work as one unit from the start.

Keep it out of light. Do not open the cap more than you have to. Keep it in freezer. Break down the 1 liter bottles for the liter you are currently using to smaller bottles and use them as needed. Keep it safe from breakage. Keep it safe from children...

I currently do not have DIY liquids yet. This is for current flavors I have. Mostly all 70-100vg. I can put them in the bottom drawer which is dark, of our second refrigerator. Would that work? I heard vg doesn't do well in the freezer.

That sounds about right. I always keep my flavors in the fridge. I know that will drive some of the members here to tell me not to, but have been doing so for 6+ years and my flavors are still surviving just fine and still taste the same as when I first bought them.

I checked on the 3 large AR tube mods. 510 is not spring loaded and appears to be right at the end of the threading. I check the threads...look like steel or brass. The brass kind of spills over into the threading but at the base of the threads it looks like ss.

Thanks, Sugar. And I assume that when I go to use them they should be at room temperature. Will put most, if not all in the frig tonight. Currently they are stored in a drawer and only see daylight when I need a bottle. Oh, I can keep glass bottles in there as well, correct?

Not much of a VG user, but like SS said i have been keeping mine in a sealed container in the back of the bottom drawer for several years with no problem.

I just could not find a place in the house that I guess was cool enough. My juices would always start to get darker after a few months. Yes I do not keep my house like an icebox...

So do I, living in Arizona. Man, it's been nasty hot the last few days. Even the breeze is like looking at a blow dryer on the high heat. Jeezz! I'm sure it's been at least 110...feels like 120.

Yes to both questions.
:)
eta All my flavors are still in the original containers they came in. Some are glass and some are plastic. All are in fridge. I have just received the glass bottles in which I plan to transfer all the ones in plastic to glass. But since I have never had any problems with any of my flavors whether or not in glass or plastic, I am not sure transferring them will make a difference. Again, I know this will drive some members crazy but I am just telling of my experience. ymmv.

Well more news for those who believe they have another two years to stock up. Just got from Reddit that Pennsylvania just passed an immediate 40% wholesale tax on anything vape related. If that wasn't bad enough they also included an additional 40% floor tax which pretty much kills all the B&M's in that state.

Hey, it's for the children!

I can only think this is a harbinger of things to come as regards state taxes. You said immediate- these taxes are in effect now?

That's the way I read it, but also read a few law suits are being filed.

Anyway expect to see more of this this BS all across the country. States are greedy, a lot of them sold bonds when they got the Tobacco settlement. Of course the money from the Tobacco settlements went to their general fund and then into the pockets of who funded their campaign. So they are out to kill vaping and keep people on Tobacco to protect the revenue stream.
