Someone correct me if I'm misinformed but as I understand it, the Chinese aren't bound by the same restrictions as svoemesto in regard to tank size. Everything coming out from that side of the world is under 3ml.

China isn't bound by -any- nation's law or rule except in how those laws and rules may effect demand/purchases/sales. China is notorious for skirting import/export restrictions and are quite talented at evading customs by describing/classifying restricted/tariffed products as being something that's restriction/tariff free. Instead of being shipped as a "5ml vaping atomizer", it may be described as "electronic accessory" (or something along those lines) and like Fasttech the sender may appear to be an individual rather than a company. If there's a demand for large volume attys China will build them. It isn't that they're innovative, it's that they're free from "nanny state" rules/regulations and can manufacture -whatever- they think will sell without a dozen state/federal agencies riding shotgun over (micromanaging) their operations. One of -many- reasons the entire U.S. manufacturing sector shut down and relocated their factories over there.

If they are sized correctly then yes, they should be a perfect fit. But as with any tiny little metric screw there is always risk that they won't fit properly. I've found it to always be a leap of faith when buying screws that aren't a model specific kit.
That's why I always get mine through McMaster-Carr.

I can't remember if it was this thread or another but I read somewhere the other day that the Protank 2 coils also worked in the Subtank Mini tank that I use occasionally. I was happy to hear that as I like the Protank 2 and have a sizeable stash of coils. I prefer not to rebuild those coils, but could if I needed to. I got to thinking about the Kanger Nebox this morning that uses the same coils as the Subtank does so I tried putting a Protank 2 coil in it. Yep, its worked for the last few hours just fine in the Nebox

I was done building my stash, but I have been giving some thought to my old age in a few years ;) and building coils as I usually do now might not be so easy. I like the Nebox for the size, the internal 10ml juice bottle, and the fact that its regulated and uses a 18650 battery. Since VaporRange still has the Nebox on sale for $24.95 I decided to get a 2nd one and at $3 for 5 I'll pick up a few more protank 2 coils from Fasttech and hopefully have a regulated mod I can easily use when I get old and can't build coils.

Edit: Hmmmm, after 4 hours I'm getting some leaking. When we get back from supper I'm gonna need to do some oring checking.
2nd edit: 3 more hours and I'm still getting some leaking out of the bottom. Going to have to play with this for a while to see if there's a fix to stopping it. I do hope so since I really like the idea of being able to use these coils in the Nebox.

wipe the gasket down ,, and you may have to apply a bit of juice to help create a 'fresh suction', then make sure its really tight with a coin.

i once loved my nebox,, then we started to fight,, i got mad and stuck him in the box.. a red one and a black one.......they both can just sit in that box and talk bad about me and i dont care! :)

I ran into the same problem and the o-ring's are fine. I believe the problem is that the coil is being flooded through the chimney.

I'm experimenting with a piece of silicone tubing to "seal" the coil chimney to the tank chimney. I tried it the other day and it did start to leak (a little) after a few hours. I'm trying it again now but this time I removed the white "cup" on the coil, hopefully to get a better seal. I also believe that an x-acto knife (which I don't currently have) would be helpful to insure an even cut for the coil side of the tubing.

If it starts to leak again, I'll buy the knife tomorrow and try (at least) one more time.

After discovering the STM, my Protanks have been relegated to the back up bin. But, I still have well over 100 rebuilt coils that I'd like to make use of if only for the convenience factor. ;)

The chinese already came out with the kayfun mimi v3 plus. Svoemesto doesnt have a comparable 3.5 ml MTL tank. The v5 isnt quite as good for MTL, maybe the reducer (or some mesh)
will fix that. The v3 plus was a new development.
The chinese are definitely innovating.
I did not know it. Thank you. I do not have Kayfun 5 yet, but looking on pictures it looks like enlarged version of Kmini3 (Chinese, as you said). So, the question is - did Russian (Germans?) steal Chinese design, or vise versa?

I read that it takes effect in October

They were discussing today in the podcast I watched if it was 90 days or 150 days although it seems to be 90 days, in Oct that vendors will need to take their inventory to base their floor tax on and start paying the 40% tax on wholesale.

I think the problem may also be in the fact that the PT coil is open on the bottom where it screws in. The ssocc coil made for the subtank and Nebox is closed. (hope that makes sense :) ) . My first attempt to plug the hole gave me a very stiff draw. Got to work on it some more. ;) Together maybe we can solve the problem :)

That's very good to know. I bet the protank 2 coils are cheaper than the subtank coils. I think I'll try some of those too.

I can't make any promises on future orders, but I ordered these as replacements for the Subtank Mini RBA post screws and they worked perfectly:

$0.80 Replacement Screws for Atomizers (10-Pack) 10-pack - M2*3mm thread size at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

Still haven't found replacements for the side to hold the chimney on. Maybe McMaster-Carr is the answer?

We may have to ask McMaster Carr to have a put a code on their hardware that works on the most commonly used vape gear. It should be a code only the vapers will understand -- like the STMRBASCR (Kanger Subtank Mini RBA Screw) or KFL+O (Kayfun Lite Plus O Ring) -- you get the idea! I think during the days of prohibition, there were all sorts of codes used to outfox the authorities. We can do the same!
