Holy cow....that's some serious weather going on there...Hope everyone was OK.

Headline: The Healing abilities of our Fair City

It has been a quiet two days in our fair city, Gentle Emeraldites, a break in the general chaos which I, for one, find greatly refreshing, my dears. All you you wonderful citizens of our fair and beautiful city have been silent, immersed in enjoying the change in seasons as Mother Nature once again shines her bounty down on all!
Our own, beloved DiKerry, Auntie Em, has graciously accepted her appointment, and works to further bring stability and peace to our great city. We can see the good work you are doing, dear Di, and wish you much success in your endeavours to bring out the best in each and every Emeraldite.
Wildsky, our own Dorothy, has been busy tapping the inherent magic in the fabulous ruby slippers, coming through her trials with only one slight miscast of a spell designed to return the MIL to parts unknown. I have it on good authority, Gentle Emeraldites, that Dorothy tried to tap the cyclonic winds near Montana, but slipped on an ice cube in the casting, sending hailstones dropping in all directions! Terrified by this display of power, Dorothy did indeed achieve her goal, for the MIL has returned from whence she came, allowing our dear Dorothy a modicurn of peace to really get controls on Emerald City's most sacred artefact.
I applaud you, Dorothy, for the transformation on the ruby slippers. What a pair they now are! I, for one, shall be watching what you come up with next in our fair Emerald!
Angl - our resident Good Witch Glenda, has returned from abroad as well, bringing with her some very young munchkins and her weary daughter to convelece in our beautific city. Well known are the healing emanations of Fair Emerald, where many tortured souls come for solace. The candles continue to glimmer in the windows of each and every citizen's windows for you, Dear Glenda, as all Emeraldites have joined in adding their healing wishes to you and your family.
Your daughter is in the finest hands, Glenda, and we all wish you speedy relief from your trials.

Boy oh Boy....I go away for a few days and finally have time to catch-up on my EC Post reading to find out "Appointments" have been made in my absence??? What is a Wizard to do??....The Wicked Witch has finally taken over The Emerald City!!!!LOL...Congrats Auntie Em....Make sure Dorothy finishes her chores!!Let me join in the frivolity and festivities (as if I wasn't gonna anyway!) and wish Auntie Em the heartiest of congratulations on her new appointment. As I was saying.... As Chief of sage guidance and MORALE (whew!!!) I predict she will have the opportunity to not only guide us in our daily activities, .... crack the whip when she sees us soften in our resolve. Wildsky........I am glad you had more sense than the ducks to get out of harms way!!! I have never seen hail that big in my neck of the woods!! I am glad you are ok!!I thought I would add to the news, we got HAMMERED by a nice big storm tonight, we were under Tornado warning and were in the basement when the hail really hit!
My veggie garden took a hit, as did my apple tree's... the stupid ducks didn't even run for the coop - they were under the apple tree's the whole time.

Yep - everyone and all the critters are fine, we have a nice big barn for the horse and goat, and a big coop for the chickens...
I think they were all probably scared, but it didn't last very long.
Lots of farmers had corn crops ruined, not sure if they can be saved or even if they have time to plant another lot.

Wow Dorothy! You almost ended up in Oz the hard way!! Glad you're ok! That's scary! You didn't lose your red shoes I see. That's good. Yes I also heard that the jerk with the striped socks was banned. Made my day. I wanted to declare it a national holiday in EC but I don't have that power. (Hint, hint). I would love to know what particular thing caused it, since there have been multitudes, but apparently a lot of threads have been disappearing on the outside. Kind of a vanishing act so inquiring minds may never know the truth. But I'm satisfied with the end result. Would like to know if this is a permanent thing or a suspension.

Well...... the closest to that kind of a declaration that I can get is only gonna happen if Wiz goes to visit his sister again, and leaves Vicks and I in charge again. We can declare all kinds of stuff then!!!

Then, there was another thread about reviews, and possibly asking people to wait until they've had the product for a while before praising and/or bashing it - he showed up again, typical DW style, there was one comment that got deleted with a reason of "facist rant" attached to it.
I'm guessing at that point (there are no other registered posts for DW after that) it went to PM's and hostility ensued.
That's the extent of my "investigative reporting" skills.....I'll just stick to opinions about the "evils of the dungeon" and the "green-skinned harlot" of EC.

Well I agree with Vicks, BM, just go ahead and do it. Wiz will probably love it! We must come up with a name for our holiday. I suggest ..... Free Memorial Day. I also know that he was in the Janty sub-forum the other day and got into it againwith Ludo. He finally told astro flash to get lost in not so nice terms.
