Once again, my dear Emeraldites, our wonderful city has been thrown into chaos and discord. Our own Princess Ozma has fallen prey to a devistating mallaise and must be hospitalized. The great Light of Oz has, naturally, rushed to her side to be with her at this trying time, as is quite proper in such a situation.
Perhaps this is a continuing plot by the absent one, that Dark Wizard of Oz, last seen escaping from the Wicked one's dungeon? I strongly believe, gentle Emeraldites, although I have not yet gotten the proof I require to post a feature article, that our Dear Princess's illness is only a small part of the Dark one's nefarious plot to dominate our poor City! I shall be resolute in watching for any signs of distress, gentle Emeraldites, and rest assured I will be the first to inform you of our great Wiz's return.
Our beloved Prince of Oz continues to flit around the sidelines, wraithlike and mournful, and I feel this is yet another plot by the Evil Wizard of Oz. When will the madness end? Our need is great, Oh great Prince, fight the influence of the Dark Side and return to the Light of Oz!!!
I have heard rumors, gentle ones, of a new bakery opening up in our beloved Emerald, run by none other than our own Jo. I will be the first to wish her good luck and many happy returns with her venture!
But what WAS the Wiz thinking, in his choice of those to govern over our fair city in his absence? While I can concur with choosing BiteMe, the mighty soldier and protector of Oz as one of the most upstanding and honor-bound of our citzenry, he must have been under some spell (perhaps an after-effect of the fairy queens magic dust?), in his second choice of temporary ruler. How else could anyone possibly explain the appointment of the Wicked Vicks as the other half of this honorific? (instead of ME - fine, upstanding citizen that I am!)
I understand that the two of them have closeted themselves up in that dungeon, to plan a festival of titanic proportions to keep the spirits of Emerald up in this trying time. I, for one, shall not attend, except in a press capacity, so that I may faithfully report on the celebrations.
Another new appointment is also in the works. What title shall go to our own DiKerry, that baaaad bunny of Oz? The temporary rulers of Oz shall make that declaration tonight, I have heard, as well as the permanant ban of the term MIL.
And, in a bizarre twist, the Golden Greek PV has seen a sharp spike in sales.

Good Morning my dear Emeraldites! This is the first thread I've read this morning and am shocked and worried about our dear Princess. Will hurry to read other threads and find out more. Am thrilled to hear about my bakery and my mind is spinning to come up with an appropriate name. Any suggestions? I think our Bad Bunny should be given the esteemed title of Supreme Poetress. She already has earned that title in my book. Di you should be getting a commission on the spike in sales of the Golden Greek PV.

Great and wonderful morning to you all, my gentle Emeraldites! It is a fabulous morning in our great City, the sun is shining, the stormclouds have passed, and the wind gently tickles the dew off the grass.
Our great and tender Princess Ozma has passed her ordeal, with the Wiz standing stalwart beside her. All of Emerald City lifted their hearts and prayers for our kind and gentle first family of Oz! It was a beautiful sight, and brought a tear to my eye to see every window in Oz last night flickering with the flame of candles, as Emeraldites sat in vigil - sending their love and affection to our great ones!
The temporary leaders of Oz stayed closeted in the palace conference rooms yesterday, no doubt planning some spectacular gala not, as I reported earler, a decadant debauchery, but now a welcoming home event for the blessed family!
We still wait, anxiously in the wings, for the appointment of our own dear DiKerry, the naughty shower bunny, which was put on hold pending the serious medical issues surrounding the Princess.
In related news, our good witch, Angl, too, has had a spell of bad news, as her daughter was also sent under the knife of the surgeon. We all wish her, and her family, support, love and affection in this trial they are facing. With the prayers of Emerald behind you, the only outcome can be a positive one! Stay strong, my dear good witch, and come back to us whole of heart and mind!
The fairy queen has returned from her tryst with Houdini, although there are very few details on this story, I shall endeavour to dig deeper to find the truth to this matter! Perhaps she, too, was under some evil spell, cast from afar from that black-hearted vagrant still on the loose. Well, rest assured, gentle Emeraldites, that I will get to the bottom of this story, and report facts only!
Another Emeraldite has vanished! Where, and what has happened, to our dear Laynies! Last seen in a horrible state of mind wandering in from outside the mighty gates of Oz, she was reported to have whispered "I can't take it anymore," before she wandered off into the stormy night. No one has seen her since. Gentle Emeraldites, if you see her, please.....take care of her! She must be under some new-foul influence!
The dungeon was quiet last night, for the first time in many months....perhaps this signals an end to the nightly perversions going on inside? The Wicked one has noted there appeared a new door - not in her original refirbushment plans, and she does not appear to have the key to unlock it. Also, there are strange and unusual noises coming from behind that door - what possibly could have happened, here!
Lastly, I have accepted, with great gratitude, the title of Poet Laurate for my extensive work in this Post. I thank all Emeraldites for this honor, and will continue to act, and write, accordingly.

Aaaaaaaaaaa.....there's nothing quite like a good hot cup of coffee, a strong vape and "The Post" to start my morning.
Actually.... I CAN think of a better start... but we're not going there right now!!!
Kendra.....Now that I am back....I hope that storm will clear up? It would be nice to see the Sun shining in The Emerald City!!(although a little thunder and lightning is sometimes fun on a warm summer night!)
