Actually nicotine by itself isn't any more harmful than caffiene. The FDA did find traces of carconigens in it but at levels that even Drs at the University of Boston health sciences and University of Louisville says are well below human concern. Plus there have been recent studies that show nicotine is benificial to memory. As for planning your day around it we always plan our day around something. Keeping track of my pv isn't any more difficult than most people keeping up with their cell phone. I know this sounds like I am thinking the OP is wrong in wanting to stop at some point but that's not true. If that is what they truly want to do then I full of support for that. I just wanted to make sure that they had all the information that was out there. Reading in the health forum is informative I think they even have articles in there about tapering down and stopping vaping. Good luck Stacey and hope this all works out whatever choice you make.

Thank you.)

Also try these guys. 01 Soda Fountain - ECBlend

They are the stuff and won't jerk ya around.

It's the soda shop where you can custom your stuff.

Pick " The Doctor" flavor and go to town with the rest on blend mix and nic content.

Their prices also can't be beat!

This is where I get my Dragon's Blood juice with the "cool hit" option and the stuffs so good I want to drink it

Once you find "the juice" for you......you will not even think about analogs.

Good luck and have fun :)

Edit... Crap, I forgot to say check the site for a coupon code too. It will give ya another 20% off.

oh I am so excited. LOL Dr Pepper liquid.... how much better can it get? lol

I tell people I brush my teeth 3 times a day and I'm not giving up my toothpaste habit either! I don't feel like just nic in itself is terrible for me, based on what I've read about it. BUT I don't like the idea of nic dependency either because I'm afraid as long as I feel I need it, there is a chance I could go back to using analogs. If the fda does ban nic liquid or if they make it really inconvenient/expensive to get I don't want to be freaking out over it. So I have started using 0 nic juice as my main vape, and only drip a couple of drops of nic juice when I feel the need. This is working great for me! I find myself hardly using any of the nic juice at all and am confident at this point that I could switch to no nicotine at all without too much trouble, if I want to, eventually.

Wow! Another brusher. LOL I carry toothbrush and toothpaste in my purse. Brush at LEAST 3 times a day. I have no idea why I do it, but have always done it. I am just addicted to having a clean mouth. lol Ut oh.... another addiction.

I don't consider vaping a bad habit.

"Too much caffeine, too much nicotine, too much fat, to much sugar, too many carbs, not enough protein, not enough water, not enough fiber, too much stress, not enough exercise, more vitamins, anti-depressants that make you fat and lower your sex drive and that's supposed to make you feel better?"

No. Enough of it. Done with all that.

I'm a happy vaper and I'm staying that way. :)

I would love to go 0 mg but scared to. I think its to soon since I quit smoking to try it. I will eventually though. IMO, if I can't get down to 0 mg nic, I feel like all I have done was trade one bad habit for another.

One of the main reasons I wanted to quit smoking was because I was so tired of being a prisoner to cigarettes. Planning my day around my smokes. A real pain in the hiney. Well, I may not be smoking cigarettes, but my day is still planned around vaping. A healthier alternative, I am happy for. I would eventually love to be able to say I am nicotine free. :)

Congratulations on quitting the deadly habit of smoking, by whatever means....

This is how it has gone for me.....

I have been vaping for a year and haven't had any cigarettes since I started.

I have a bunch of juices, from 24mg down to 0mg. I rarely think about the amount of nicotine in the juice I pick up, I think about the amount of vapor and the taste.

As far as having to plan your day around the habit, my ecig doesn't have any where near the hold on me that the cigarettes did and I can see me possibly just forgetting to pick it up someday......

I am assuming you have been vaping for a fairly short period of time. It seems to me that most of us tend to overthink all of this.... I know for a fact that I never analysed my smoking anywhere near as much as my vaping.

What is Healthy about a life long addiction and dependency to Nicotine, which is a known poison???
The whole "poison" thing is nothing but a red herring.

As another poster said, every substance on earth is a poison, it just depends on the quantity.
In fact, many things that are considered poisons at high doses are considered medicines at lower doses.

And nicotine is most definitely one of those things...
Beneficial effects of nicotine

I really did not mean to cause a war with my post. I think I was more or less thinking with my fingers.) I have really enjoyed vaping so far and just starting out and haven't had any flavors or even tried liquids or refilling, etc. I think my problem is I loved smoking period. And I guess I am worried that as long as I have the nic addiction, there is always a chance I will pick up an analog. So, in my mind if I am at 0mg nic then I can vape vape vape all the dr pepper I want and can't no one touch me. LOL

No one around me smokes any more. So, I am the outsider so to speak. My husband is a recovering alcoholic who quit drinking 20 years ago. He smoked AND dipped heavily up until 2 years ago when he decided he just didn't want to any more. Laid them down and never picked it up again. i was like WTF?? He has never ever complained about me smoking or the smell (other then he would prefer I not come to bed right after smoking), but I cannot tell you how envious I was that he made it look so dang easy. I have tried to quit so many times over the last 25 years and nothing worked. 2 years ago I tried the Chantix and OMG I will never ever make that mistake again. yeah, I didn't want a cig but I could have very easily committed murder. I was mean and hateful and depressed and no sleep and nightmares and leg cramps. The non-stop crying and I am not talking about just watery eyes, I am talking about full blown sobbing to the point of having hiccups all the damn time. It was HORRIBLE.

Anyway... I have actually enjoyed reading everyone's comments and respect everyone's opinion here. Hope I didn't make anyone just downright MAD at me.

If anyone has any opinion on any dr pepper juice they have tried.... I am all ears (or eyes). I am determined to find a good one. Oh and if anyone knows of a good banana flavor too..... that would be cool.

I think you'll find as time goes on you're not really as addicted as you think you are. I haven't lowered my nic level (doubt if I will) but I can go out all day and not bring my pv and it really doesn't bother me at all.

When we go out to dinner with friends and they run outside for a cig, I have no desire to go out with them (we can't smoke in my state inside).

The same here. I can't smoke or vape at work unless we are in our cars and honestly, most days its not even worth the hassle. But there are some days when I would have done it 10 times or more. LOL But for the most part its just inconvenient. I also see everyone talking about getting backup to backups. If I can't wait for an hour for my battery to charge..... something is wrong. But with that being said, I go out of my way every night to make sure my battery is charged and ready for first thing in the morning. I don't drink coffee, but I will make a b-line for my pv and dr pepper in the mornings. :vapor:

THAT'S what I want for myself . . . by "choice" and not by "need"! Hopefully baby-steps and vaping will get me there.

Oh I am seriously gonna go broke on this website.

Can you help me understand the PG/VG thing? I see everyone talking about it and now I see it as an option on this website and I just don't understand what it is.

Also, you said "cool hit" what is that?

I can already tell that I will be getting lots and lots of the 5ml bottles to try different flavors and mixes. Do your combinations save somewhere? or will they remind you what your mixture was with each one you order? Or do I need to make a note of each one as I go?

Yeah, everyone tells me I will get to that point. I wish it would hurry and get here. I walked by a guy who had obviously just put out a cig and OMG he stunk so good. LOL

I didn't think I'd ever get to that point either. But now the smell makes me sorta sick. Never in a zillion years did I think I'd say that.

I recently went on vacation in Mexico and came back with a bad case of Montezuma's Revenge.
So for two days I wasn't working, and just kind of hung out watching movies all day.

I had my battery charger in my luggage, which I left in my car, and just never bothered to unpack it.
The hassle of getting up, going out to the car, and digging out the charger just never seemed worth the effort.

That never would have happened with cigarettes.
And I mean NEVER.
