I was very hopeful when I first got my e-cig, and started to get bummed out about the mess and effort of carts, and the not quite satisfyed feeling after vapeing for 20 minutes.

"I'm going to make these carts work!"
Dripping is so much better, and... less effort, less no mess.

"I'm going to stick with 18mg."
The problem here was the 20+ minute vape times. I finally ordered some 48 and some PG.

With 48, vape time is less than an analog! With 36, vape time is about the same as an analog (my personal experience). With either one there's no "If I can just drag on this thing a few seconds longer I'll get a good hit". It's more like a regular draw off a cigarette.

In fact, with 48, three drops will provide at least 2 smoking sessions, and I'm taking tiny draws because the 48 is almost too strong.

It's been my experience that getting the nicotine in the system quickly is more effective than getting a lot of nicotine in the system slowly.

Cigarettes are no longer appealing, but I'm smoking three a day for a smooth transition. After 20+ years of tobacco it seems like a good idea.

And this passthrough is awesome. A constaint full charge with no downtime. I'm ordering another one for the car so I don't have to carry it back and forth. Battery units still have their place. I might order a chuck one day, but the majority of my smoking takes place near a USB port.

E-smoking rocks!

I got some 45mg I tried but couldn't really tell much difference between 35 and 45 so I just went back to 36. I was also a little scared. Of course according to FDA the nicotine level was lower than stated on the cartridges they tested. In that case it would be safe to vape something a little stronger.

You go for it.

Yes. I'm alternating between 36 and 48 now. I have some 18mg butterscotch, cream, and caramel. Mixed half and half with a tobacco flavour makes for a tasty 36mg vape.

Only reason I'm undecided is that it's nice to vape for 2 minutes and feel done.

I also get the feeling that as my tobacco use tapers off, the nicotine itself won't be quite as appealing. Just have to wait and see, but I'm in no rush to drop to 24mg.

I've decided 33mg is easily enough. A 2 minute vape seems like a good idea, but the 48mg is too spicy. Reminds me of nicotine gum.

I've been using 18mg and 48mg, mixed 1:1 which comes to 33mg (not 36, sorry for the bad math). I could probably go lower, though with 24mg I felt like I was trying too hard to like the e-cig.

At 33mg, I'm using around 20 drops per day, with about the same frequency and duration as a cigarette. Given that 25-30 ultra-light analogs at .5mg would be 12.5mg on the low side, and 33 mg is the high side, I'd guess I'm somewhat close to my general expectation.

I have some PG, so I can play with the mg level. Something between 24 and 33 and work down from there. No desire to smoke analogs at 33!

That's good to know. I've been smoking for 24ish years, myself. I started
with Marlboro Reds and now smoke Newports. As soon as Jeff gets my
Chuck built and sent to me, I plan to discontinue the analogs completely.
Necessary, since I'm military. Smoking is starting to effect my overall health
more and more as I get older and the military is definitely cracking down
on overall fitness.

Yea, it seems like the mg level is rated low... but some people seem to do well starting with 18mg.

I understand that there's a desire to not give the establishment any ammunition to shoot down e-cigs, but I'm glad 36, and 48 are available... for now. I have enough supplies to vape at 33mg for 2 years if I need too. Comes out to about $250 a year including hardware, go bulk!

Best of luck to you on being done with analogs!
