I have an update now lol. I'm up to 12mg x approximately 8ml's per day = 96. *shutters* I need to chill out lol
Wow, how don't you fall over when inhaling that huge amount of nicotine a day? I'd get a lot of headaches.. When I smoked, I smoked 1pad, 1 1/2pad if I had little to do. I started with 24mg and a nic factor of 48. So I'm slooowly decrasing my nicotine intake. I actually thought I was doing great lowering my nicotine, but appearently not..Just gone down 3 factors. Well, it at least looks like I'm decrasing with the mg's on the vpg bases :p

That's a really good question, honestly lol. Idk if it has anything to do with lung size but I used to play Tuba in high school and am 6 ft 5. Also I was a 2 pack a day smoker. If those aren't factors I have no idea how lol

Since this thread ran its coarse I've changed everything one way, then back the other way and ended up where I started.

First I got more in to rba's and high power tanks and high watts. Not sure why I did this but it wasn't my thing.

Then I went to tootle puffing. Bought a Provari and kayfun and the whole nine. I started with 6mg and found it left me cranky but the habit part worked ok. But to keep my nic level where other people are safe I had to go up to 12mg. Then the flavor I love was gone. So I had to double the flavoring. And I was thirsty and my throat was sore all the time.

I learned I was a habit vaper. No matter what the nic is and how nasty the joose I'm gonna keep on hitting that mod all day. But because it was 12mg I was hitting a lot of nic. And its started having some effects I didn't like which I'm not gonna get into because everyone is different. And I was somewhat worried about the amount of flavorings required to get the same taste.

So I went back to what had worked so wonderfuly for me before. .5Ω at 30w. Dropped my nic and flavoring levels in half.

Through this all my habits and ml intake stayed about the same. Heavy hitting left me not needing to vape for long periods but I missed the habit. TP'ing had me sucking on that mod night and day high or low nic. Trying to get that feeling of satisfaction I love.

So I'm back at roughly 6ml of 6mg. I vape often enough and feel wonderful.

Great post! You really just demonstrated what you can see thoughout this thread, people will vape the amount of juice and mg of nick they need to replace cigarettes and get the nic levels they are used to, unless they consciously and intentionally decrease their nic levels. I'm pretty much like you, I vape what I need so as not to go all crank a$% on someone, lol.

Unless you smoked ultralights or something, at 1 1/2 pack a day you were getting a blood level nic higher than @RebornLincoln06. Basically people vape what their bodies are used to nic wise.

8ml x 12mg = 96mg

Edit: compared to about 36-40mg from analog cigarettes (40ish x 0.8mg).
Difference in absorption rate considered, i am probabyl where i was as a smoker nicotine wise.
For me more important than the nicotine however... over the past 17months as a vaper, 169g of tar avoided. That is a sizable pile if you imagine it. *yuck*

I smoked prince red's which got 1mg nic. What I started with when I began vaping, felt almost natural.

haha that's nothing, someone in this thread had like 270 mg a day, you're already chill ;)

A really good friend of mine took the plunge a couple months.

He was a SUPER heavy smoker. Gave him a IPV Mini with an Atlantis and some 6mg joose to see where we was at.

Well he took right to it but dear god the joose he takes in. I can make him anything he wants but he's in his place. The joose is standard enough but his nic levels are INSANE.

OTOH dropping 60-80 smokes a day leaves him wiggle room.

Such a great point - it was never the nicotine that was killing us with cigarettes it was the tar and other compounds.

I just had to do some math (well, my calculator did..), and a very disturbing (yet makes me very happy) number that I've come up with - ~60 grams of tar! I don't even want to think about how much tar I got from 30+ years of cigarettes..

I've posted in this thread before, and I still vape about a ml a day. I've done some more math stuff, and this may or may not be close or right. The atty in my vaper might have between between 30 and 60 percent efficiency processing/delivering the nicotine in the liquid combo I come up with. Sometimes, but not often, I vape the 24mg/ml base just as it is, or it's combined with 2 different flavors. So 60% of 24 is about 14 1/4, if I flavor the base the resulting nic level is about 18, and 60% of that is about 11. This dialog comes out of my mouth pretty easily, and I hope when someone asks me "What nic level do use?" that when I say it it's pretty easily understood. Perhaps I just don't word things good enough, but every response I've gotten so far has been along the lines of, "Man, that's a lot of chemistry." That kind of response baffles me, and I've gotten that kind of response from vapers/smokers and non-vapers/non-smokers. I'd expect a response like that from a non-vaper/non-smoker or even a smoker only, but..

Now to make some community member's jaws drop, sometimes I vape a bit LESS than a ml a day!
