Keep it basic. Get a single battery (more mAh means longer battery life), a delivery system (Vivi Nova, cartomizer, atomizer, whatever) and some juice. Get comfortable with that.

In a week or two, you may want something else. Everyone else will still be here to help out. But get comfortable with the equipment first. Just make sure it's decent equipment.

I've been going back and forth with vaping for a year now. Right now I have 1 battery. I've found the delivery system that works for me and juice I like. Now it's all maintenance and fun. :D

Great advice! Don't let all the info confuse tou. I am using a Vivi Nova right now. No burnt/dry hit at all once I dialed it in. It took every bit of a day to dial it in. OKC vape sells the Nova Tank at the cheapest price I've seen. It comes with 3 coils & I purchased a 5 pack of replaceable coils. Don't get overloaded with info & know even after getting your gear there is a small learning curve for learning the puffing aspect of it. Puff slooow, not like areal cig. Stick with it.

Man I am baffled that most ppl don't suggest mega dual coil cartos on these threads. I recommend these vendors......smokeforpennys, vapingzone, and madvapes for your equipment. Buy the ego twist 1100mah because the battery will last longer than the small 600-900 mah batteries. Get a 5 pack of the smoktek mega dual cartomizers. Buy some samples of e juice from anywhere. Tilt the carto at an angle and slowly drip 3.5-4 mLof liquid. Wait 30 min for liquid to be absorbed. Screw carto to battery, and vape all day. Add more if it looks dry. The most simple set up ever. My first month vaping I tried everything, I ran across a video on YouTube by tropmonkey and I haven't looked back since. I can already hear the chants of "blasphemy" because many will say the flavor is dulled or their set up is better. And I would say they are right. But if you are looking for ease of use and cheap......just follow my advice and pick up what I told ya! Good luck!

Congrats on getting off of the stinkies!!! Good for you!!

I've had 4 Twists (gave 2 away) and have 2 Vision Spinners. If I had to choose between the two, I would pick the 1300 mah Spinner for sure. Better feel in my hand (shorter and fatter than the Twist) and it's much easier to dial in the voltage (easier to see numbers and burled end).

For juice delivery I'm happy with the mini Vivi Nova, Kanger T3 and CE3.

As for juice...just do a search for Marlboro Red and you'll find plenty of suggestions. :)

Wishing you continued success in your vaping journey!

I walked into Walmart last January with a brand new pack of Marlboro Menthols in my pocket and my hubby asked me to try a Mist e-cig. After 22 years of heavy smoking i laughed.. and we left but an e-cig store called Revolver opened up a few blocks from us and we went in ..hung out..found a good fit and that was my LAST day of smoking..after 22 years. I LOVE it! My mom stopped smoking years ago and we had a get together and had my mom, sister, 2 brothers sat around the table tasting e-juices...we ALL vape now. Of course my mom does the 0 nic. I use the 24mg and am going to start making my own juice now. I love to vape!!

Sorry for the late reply....been busy with the holidays as well as my new toys lol.

Glad to be of help!

Nice Kit!!
Based on what your description above: you will get 5 cartridges and 5 atomizers. The Joyetech carts come in either white or black. Mine came shipped in white, and actually, I prefer it now that I have it, as a little tilt is all I need to see how much juice is remaining.

Vapor Alley has been my shop of choice for accessories for my eGo system. They have TONS of Tanks and Clearomizers, and I'm sure after looking at their web site, you'll know what they are and how to differenciate between them. I'm a fan of the Kanger T3 system. Considering your kit is with the Twist batteries, if you get a clearomizer, crank that baby up to 4.2 - 4.7 volts for a good vape on the T3!

Vapor Alley has an Awesome Vape Tray ($8.95) that I have on my stand next to my easy chair. It keeps three eGo kits standing upright and allows me to select the flavor of the moment (as I usually have 3 set up and ready to vape!)

Don't forget to pick up a few silicone end caps for your type B cart. This prevents "leaking" or seepage. I picked mine up at My Freedom Smokes (both are listed under forum suppliers at the top of the page). I think they charge $2.95 for 10. While you're there pick up a 55 gallon drum of their Juicy Fruit vape! You'll be addicted and a small bottle is not enough!

If you need a carry case for your eGo 1000 mAh battery, I have found the genuine Joyetech LARGE case fits everything perfectly! Most of the aftermarket products won't have enough room for all your "stuff" with the larger battery. I picked up mine at My Freedom Smokes as well.

Lastly, go to your local drug store and pick up a bottle of Hydrogen Peroxide. I use that to soak my atomizers and bottom coil assemblies for the Clearomizers. Soak for an hour or so at room temperature, rinse with water and let dry for 24 hours or so on a paper towel. It removes most the previous flavors (unless it was a very strong flavor like Clove), but after a few vapes after a strong flavor, you'll find your vape back to normal flavor.

Oh, and get some batteries for that remote! You won't be wanting to get up from that easy chair!!

Enjoy & Merry Christmas!
Thx for the tips.
Got my rubber end caps as well as the large eGo case like you suggested, except the 5 gallon drum lol.
Everything is coming together now.
Appreciate the advice.
Btw, you will be able to see the juice through the "smoke" cartridge as well.

Here is my little "starter" kit with 1x1000mAh and 2x 650mAh (red and blue) not shown....i know i got carried away lol.

Congrats on switching been off dip myself for 6 months. Welcome to ECF
Kudos for quitting,,good luck,,,
Great to hear about your accomplishment! So good to hear about people throwing cigarettes away. Congrats!
Thank you!
Nice job on quitting. As many have said go with an ego VV. I have the ego V2 and a mini vivi nova and it's great. My buddy picked up a v2 and he and his roommates used it for 2-3 weeks before going back to analogs. My plan is to keep upgrading. It's cheaper than analogs and it's like getting toys in the mail.

Another vote for the twist/Vivi Nova combo. Best I have tried so far.

Thanks for the advice all.
Here is my little thoughts on the vivi nova (can't be accurate since i have only use it for the last 2 weeks or so)
1)needs a sleeve to make the tank flush with the batt
2)eats up juice much faster than the Kanger T2
3)don't really fancy the diamond cut finish
4)mouth piece is not screwed on the tank
5)more vapor compare to the T2
6)able to completely remove top and bottom for cleaning and replacing
7)more option for customization (changing the tip as well as the tank color)

Here is the with and without sleeve for those who are interested.

Wanted to get the T3 but the vendors i ordered from was out of stock, they are definitely on my next order list.

Nice job!

Oh, anyone knows what is the left one call and how to i use it lol.
I ordered those thinking is the same cartridge as those that came with my kit (as shown in the pic) but they have some foam in there. Not sure if i can use it with my atomizer.

The thing on the left is an empty cartridge. The filler is what holds the juice. You drip your liquid into it, just so it's wet and not convex on the top, and stick it in your atty. They are old style (that's all my original kit came with), but I still like to use them to try new juices when I like something I've dripped, but still not sure I want to commit a whole tank to it. Hint: Replacement empty carts are cheap, but you can restuff them very easily.
