one thing i miss that the prodigy has yet to fulfill for me and i know the protege wont... is that morning buzz from a newport... i vape the 36mg menthol from ps... and i love it, but every morning i try getting that buzz that never comes.... like chasing the damn dragon.

still i was able to quit because of PS and I guess its one thing i have to give up in order to live a healthier life.

The bottle I'm currently using came from Vapor Country. 48mg and 60mg can be found at Nhaler, My Freedom Smokes and DIY Flavor Shack.

As for being healthy

There have been several threads regarding the level of nicotine that one actually absorbs while vaping and what level can be considered as "safe". Depending on what type of math the various respondents in these threads have used, a case for healthy/safe, or not, has been made for every level of nicotine available.

Step back and look at these threads and the passion of some folks regarding how "right" they are and how everyone else is a fool is very comic/tragic.

I stay off of tobacco and maintain a clear head by vaping 36mg sunup to sundown. That's what works for me. I made a huge effort to drop to 24mg last month that was a huge failure. After 2 weeks I was experiencing the classic nicotine withdrawal symptoms of irritability, lack of focus and concentration. Back to 36mg and voila, all good!

Many other vapers maintain with nic levels as low as 6mg and feel uncomfortable and even sick when they use stronger than 12mg. These individuals have found what works for them.

BIG POINT is that we're all different with respect to what our body chemistry requires to maintain our nicotine addiction. That's one of the beauties of vaping, being able to try different levels of nicotine to find what's right for the individual.

Starting to look like a rant, sorry Dj.

Is it healthy to vape 48mg? Damn sight healthier than smoking tobacco! :D

EDIT: Just noticed your location Dj, thank you for all you do.

Once you have made the switch to e-cigarettes the only thing left is for you to find an affordable cartridge because that’s where your continual cost will be. I found a site where I could buy them for as low as $1.60 per cartridge of $8.00 for a box of 5. Each cartridge is like 16 cigarettes so that’s 4 packs of regular cigarettes at $2.00 a pack. Compared to paying $5.00+ that’s going to save me big time over the long run.
You can purchase these at luck-e-strike.com :)

:confused::confused::confused::confused::confused:
Not only does this give every appearance of being spam but the website could easily be construed as an affront to ones intelligence.

I'm new to the forum & PureSmoker & so glad for this post & replies. I've been fooling around with a few e cigs & just got Prodigy last week. It's the best, most satisfying e cig I've used to date. Also been trying different brands of juice but as said here something is missing. Gosh I thought I was the only one & you all have explained why. At the moment I've decreased analog smoking by 1/2 so that at least is improvement. Will be getting juice from Pure Smoker this week & hopefully it will help even more in quitting analog's totally. I DID one day only 3 analogs which was remarkable so I know there is hope.

Thanks for this thread.....now I know for sure there is something else besides nicotine that causes me to want an analog & also that I'm NOT the only one.

You're on the right road H! Just be patient with yourself and keep at it. Keep trying different flavors just for the fun of it. Whenever you want a cig just fire up your Prodigy for a bit.

After a while you'll probably just not want one of those nasty ciggies anymore. But let someone try to take that Prodigy from you and there'll be trouble! ;-)

as for the "morning buzz" from a cig, yes, most of that is from the other chemicals, and most believe it is attributed to the carbon monoxide...and the asphyxiation associated with it.

yeah. a lot of the buzz you're looking for was from lowering oxygen in your blood and therefore getting a headrush.

you could try bending at the waist, holding your head down by your knees for a few minutes and vaping, then stand up really quickly so the blood rushes back and you get a little dizzy...;)
