Well, let's do a little experiment shall we? I'll post all my overseas orders I have pending, with tracking numbers, and let's see who gets here first, and if at all. I (tonight) just placed an order from Hong Kong for cell phone (HTC Touch Pro 2) batteries. The other overseas orders were all placed AFTER my TW UK order. This does NOT include 2 overseas orders created and received since my order with TW UK. I will post those if requested.

TWicked - eliquid - ordered 3/26 - RJ603042933GB
DE - batteries - ordered 3/29 - RB154426050HK
Precious - PV - ordered 3/29 - RN980197140RO
edobuy - Cell batts - ordered 4/6 - email states shipping 4/07

AND THEY'RE OFF....edobuy is just out the gate, just ahead is DE, TW and Precious neck and neck...

This just in:

The order was posted out to you on 29th March which was last Monday (5 business days ago). (Actually 6) You must also take into account the Easter Holidays which the postal services do not work on, so really it is only 4 business days ago since the order was despatched.

Deliveries from the UK to the US normally take around 10 business days to be delivered and we must give Royal Mail a maximum of 25 business days to deliver parcels abroad.

If you have not received your parcel within 25 working days of ordering then we would take it as the item being lost in the post. Only then would we be able to refund the order and you would be free to re-order from the US site.

Fine, I'll wait. I do want to point out one thing, and I do know I'm being ..... I ordered Friday, they shipped Monday. I ordered from MadVapes this last Saturday, and received it Monday. Obviously they are not only in the US, but pretty close to me, my point is they recieved and sent my order same day, and on a holiday weekend to boot. So CHEERS for MadVapes. :)

I think it would be more appropriate to blame the Christians for daring to have a holiday on a weekend when you have ordered something from overseas.

Be patient, Grasshopper. All happens for a reason that is known only after it happens.

Vape On!!!! (perhaps up your mgs for today) :D

op said get there paypal account closed.

"IF you don’t get the package back from customs, or it’s lost, you lose maybe $30 in your cost, and a customer, and the ability to use PayPal"

Either way im not trying to get into a war about who is right and who is wrong but everyone needs to calm down and yes also there needs to be better communication.

and thats a good question about the tracking number.

Actually, my take on what the OP said was that if TW didn't rectify the situation (track to confirm its still on its way to the OP or resend) and deliver the merchandise he would report to paypal. I find nothing unreasonable there.

I do agree that a little more waiting is in order for the delivery of the package, but if it is indeed lost in shipping it is TW's responsibility as a business to make good.

Regardless of TWs business practices(no I am not a customer of theirs I never have nor will I ever order from them) or who is responsible if a package does or does not show up, this thread boils down to one thing and that is the OPs lack of any patience whatsoever and their need to have something to complain about all the time.

i can't believe what i'm reading here!!!

That makes 2 of us.

since when is it the problem of the supplier if things go astray during transit???? they do not deliver the products to your door themselves.... this is what you pay shipping for. once the product leaves their company, it's out of their hands. this is a risk that you as a buyer take each and every time you place an order online. especially when customs is involved. if you are not prepared to take this risk, DON'T order online!!!

I guess I'm just spoiled rotten. The suppliers I buy from seem to think it's their responsibility to get their product to their customers. I just mistakenly assumed that was standard business practice.

I have had a couple of online orders that just didn't show up. I notified the merchant after a reasonable amount of time, they put a tracer on it, they dealt with the shipper, and then... in one case they re-shipped priority delivery and in the other they OVERNIGHTED it to me. On both counts they were very apologetic for the delay and wanted me to know that they appreciated my business. What a concept! I felt like a customer.

i'm not surprised you have not heard back from them, if that is the manner in which you choose to speak! if i were TW, i would completely ignore you also and refuse to take any further orders from you.

oh nooooo. not that! Do you think maybe if he pays double for a year they would consider letting him continue to spend his money buying their stuff?

(I've got to find out the secret ingredient they're putting in their juice.)
how utterly rude!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:-x

We agree again!

I think the OP realizes now that he jumped the gun and perhaps was reacting to another recent thread where TW wasn't replacing DOA merchandise and having customer service issues. It's easy to get riled up when so many posts suggest a supplier is not doing the right thing with their customers. I don't believe the OP was just looking for something to complain about but instead of firing from the hip we need to document problems and submit them to ECF so problems with a supplier can be dealt with.

So, to answer a few questions/statements....

Yes, I am VERY impatient! It's not a trait I'm proud of, and I am working on it. I don't LIKE to complain, really. However, if something isn't right, I feel better, and the need to, complain. To prove the point, I am NOT going to relay/vent about today's issue involving my HP Laptops's dead battery and the warranty NOT being honored.

I kinda jumped the gun, I could have waited a little longer to post here, however I had NO communications from TW UK, and that irritates the piss out of me. However, we are moving very soon, and I'd like to get ALL my shipments in before we leave.

I still believe it's the suppliers responsibility to ensure that a shipment is received by the customer, always. I understand that it may not be their fault, but certainly their responsibility. I've had packages go AWOL, and when I inquire of the shipper, they ALWAYS state inquires must be initiated by the shipper, not the shippee. (sp, don't care, not being graded on sp) Besides, if a company wants to keep happy customers, they do whatever they need to to make us happy. (within reason)

Now I believe (from the email I got) that TW will do the right thing, IF it comes to it. That being said, I would have gone to PayPal if it had come to that. It wasn't meant to be a threat or vindictive, only a fact. I will NOT get ripped off by anyone. (again, this is not a slam on TW or any other company/person, it is a general statement)

I thank you all for your inputs, both for and against the various points. :)
