Optimal New ontact Maintenance?

Hi guys, I've only recently got around to the new SO kits. I figure sanding the contact is out, but carbon grease is still good. Today I cleaned the + contact on my mini with a q-tip and alcohol, then dabbed on carbon grease. But wondering if there is anything I am missing?

The alc + grease gave it a little lift.

I don't go super low on the ohms, but sometimes go as low as 0.7ohm.

My grand is out of action, shorted the bugger with old contacts trying to early morning voltage check in stupid ways But hopefully new rebuild kit will get here Monday and have her [she's a girl] firing better than before.

Id reccomend Noalox from the start but you already got that going

yeah, i can't get noalox by brand here, but have chemtools version which seems to do the trick [bit thicker than noalox if that makes a difference]
