Stone its not funny to mislead people, at vape shops i showed plenty of times how fast they heat up under these loads. some even resulted in popping inside pv if taken to extreme limits of .25 ohms.
I'm not entirely sure how I'm misleading anybody by suggesting they use batteries with much higher amp limits that perform better.
If an AW IMR 1600 is dying under a 17 amp load, then it's probably not even a real AW.

I know this is a GG thread but there seems to be more info here than anywhere else I looked.
Being a bit off topic,would you recommend using these in a DNA 20 Mod using the DNA built in charger.
Would there be any advantage over say a CGR other than higher Mah on the NCR18650PD.
I would hate to fry a DNA board from not understanding what is being said here.

But I need the BUTTON TOP to cover all my PVs
Otherwise I'd have to buy BOTH Panasonic2900 AND Orbtronic2900

I've never seen a Panasonic button top 2900mAh high drain battery besides the Orbtronic

I have never seen people here on ECF so afraid of a battery like they are this one. I love them and mine have been in use since release with no issues around .7 to 1 ohm.
trying the new 3400's for regular 1 ohm coils (6.8 amp continuous, 12 peak) and so far they are wicked long lasting as well.

I can't wait to get these. I've recently upgraded from AW 18650 1600 & 2000 mAH to the Panny CGR18650CH 2250mAh which are great, but still not the battery life I want. Hopefully these will last all day with my dual coil 0.9ohm ithaka build. I doubt it, but still longer than my current setup.

Got mine yesterday. Charged em, which finished about 6pm, still on the same bat. Nice.
Fluid Vapor just got there shipment as you know they go as fast as they get them in.
