They are the same battery as the Orbtronics 18650 2900mAh High Drain only without the "Button Top"
Orbtronics sells the same Panasonic flat top battery - $10.91 for one

If you don't need the button top then there is no reason to buy the Orbtronic battery
GG doesn't need a button top battery
Provari needs a button top battery

yes orbs do have protection but it will limit the amps to less.

The AW IMR 1600s perform better than the Orbtronics, and the Samsung INR-20Rs perform even better than the AWs.
