Just got the batteries today - they are longer than I expected! For some reason I was comparing to an 18490 battery, not 18650. Oh well, not a big deal, I can live with that! I'll get way more life out of one battery now, that's for sure!
Luckily they do fit in my Pila charger if I take out the spacers (just barely fit!)
Anyway, should I drain them before charging, or does that not matter? I know with some batteries you should do that. I'm charging them now, though.
edit: I just read not to completely discharge Li-ion batteries, so I'm going to assume charging it first is fine :)

Just let the Pila do what the Pila does
It'll charge any Li-Po that will fit
Its your job to drain them
I've been charging 4 IMR batteries for over a year now on a Pila
2 AW 2000mAh and 2 Panasonic 2250mAh
And they still last well over a day on a charge
I'm beginning to think they may never crap-out so that I can replace them with PD 2900mAh ones

Just a heads up for the folks been hammering about Orbtronics 18650 battery. Fluid Vapor finally has them in stock and cheaper than Orbtronics site.

They are giving you $1 off per battery which is good, Right?
Until they take it back and then some for shipping.
At least they have the decency not to have doubled their minimum shipping in the last two months.
I can't say that about every big name vaping company out there.

Hey Bishop that's great but i haven't got an answer as to what is the difference between this:
https://www.fasttech.com/products/0...onic-ncr18650pd-18650-36v-2900mah-rechargeabl
and this
Orbtronic High Drain 18650 2900mAh NCR18650PD Hybrid Li-ion (each)

is there a circuit? is the some changes? what?

hi mad sorry havent gotten back to you things hav been so busy for me. the issue is that it doesn't have the same amp withdrawals for High drain.

I believe Sal mentioned it I would have to recheck my emails to make sure but i believe those you linked cant sustain a max 18 amp discharge like the one I showed. Even though it advertized at 10 amps it can go to 18 amps pressing no longer than 6 seconds.

also sal is working on a new battery cell that will give us 24 amps high drain on 18650.

there the best at the moment. till another brand comes. The batteries hits harder after 4th charge cycle.

Just noticed this--on my 6th cycle, they light up my .4 ohm coils better than my 18350s.

I pulled each one off the charger, and went 5 mins. with each back to back...Orbitronic 18650s are truly the best right now.
