Yeah I should have put T3... Too many different combos gets confusing.

Some people say the opposite of what I said. I am only going by what I have tried. I think you are safer with a T2 since tolerance may come into play. You change the heads on a T2 so if the tube works you can carry on. With an ego T3, you risk variations each time you change coils.

Or just buy the x2 T3

Not a big fan of the T2's. Tried the Kanger T3, not a big fan either. I like the CE3 the best just getting tired of syringe filling. Although I haven't vaped 1/2 mil in over a week so this may be all be irrelevant. That is a good thing for me. The other delivery system I like is the viva, although it just leaked out on me but I think it was user error.

Not to thread-jack but since we're talking threading and compatibility.....
The whole 510/eGo thing. Some sites list product specs as if the 510 and eGo
threading is the same. Is it? I only have experience with 808 threads on my
Halo G6 and regular ol' Volt cig-style batteries, and on my Volt X2.

I just got an eGo Twist and a Kanger T3 and I love it. Eager to try SI's 808-threaded
T3s too. But now I want to know if I have to make sure any other tank or clearo
I might want to use with the Twist has to be 510 or eGo threaded. I remain unclear
as to whether or not they are the same after some googling....

but my search-fu ain't as good as other folks'.
btw, to the thread-starter: Nice avatar. I've been a huge fan of Electric Wizard
for a few years now.

All eGo's are 510 threaded. The eGo model is a big battery with a 510 connection and cone threads. Some eGo accessories only use the cone threads, but they'll still work on the Twist without a problem. Some eGo (cone-thread only) accessories may also work on the X2 because it's a vGo (or iGo) model which just means it's an eGo model with 808 threads.

Honestly it's no wonder fewer people use 808's, especially once you get into the big batteries.

Thanks for the plain-English explanation Johnnie! That clears things up!
Glad I could help. :D

I actually just posted a thread in the KR808D-1 forum here explaining the differences between various 808 batteries. I've seen many people get confused by the different options lately.
