the brass post is the same as v1
there is an option for a stainless post as well, but i've had no problems at all so far
Me neither. Perhaps my lungs are getting atomically plated, but I haven't noticed anything obvious about the brass posts being an issue for me.

Oh, and I did set up the V2 finally, exactly like my V1s - single coil, horizontal, smallest airhole (or next up, depending). I wouldn't say the flavor is better - 'on par' is what I'd say. I actually have a V1 and a V2 with identical builds and identical juice (Coval Vapes Churro) in both and the experience is the same. I think the reduced chamber is having a limited effect flavor and vaporwise because:

1) The walls are thinner than the V1s
2) As the liquid goes down, there's a lot more volume in the chamber compared to the V1

So at the end of the day, even though the V2 has a smaller top cap, the vape differences are non-existent. That said, the original Origen RDA is *fantastic* (the flav and vape = better than my Kayfuns), and the addition of double the juice capacity is just a huge bonus for me.

where can I get one? thanks

Ultramist has them in stock right now, probably because they're charging $30 over other sites AND you have to pay another $25 on top of that for the drip tip that comes free with it at other sites (like Vaping Craze where I got mine).

That said, I've certainly paid 'premiums' for items that I can get in-stock. I just think the practice is ....ty. So you can wait for a reasonable price at other sites or order from Ultramist if you can't wait.

Wow, I didn't expect v2 to increase the liquid capacity so much. I can get a lot of use out of V1 before re-filling, enough that I've been carrying it around with my u-can everywhere instead of the kayfun. Is there anyone that could take a shot of the bottom of the drip tips for v1 vs v2? Even though the v1 tip looks narrow I found the bore is actually bigger than a lot of my wide tips (the bottom opening). The v2 drip tip certainly looks better imo.

I love this dripper and surprised RIP Trippers didn't like it. I currently have mine in horizontal coil and baffled why he didn't give it a try, especially since he thought that was a reason he wasn't getting the flavor he wanted. But than again, I've never tried a Zenith so I can't compare.

I can't agree more...I was surprised that he said the origen was lacking flavor. I haven't used an atomic but I can't imagine the flavor comparison between that and the origen to be huge.

After watching that review...it made me think he was riding MCV a little too hard...

Btw, anyone see the actual flashlight tube that the panzer modeled after? Practically 1:1 lol...

My v1 Origens did not come with drip tips when I bought them from Betamorph (yes, they are real, pre-clone), so I can't compare them with the v2 drip tip. That said, the v2 drip tip is definitely WIDE BORE. Super thin walls and basically a metal straw. Way too open for me, but yes, it looked very cool :)

It does look humongous. Did you lose flavor? Straight past the mouth to the lungs I assume.

Their prices are higher, but they are filling a market gap. People will pay extra when they want it "now". I am one of those. So I went to purchase the Origen V2 and I can't. They require that the billing and shipping address be the same. That blows me away. Why on earth would they do that?

I'm not a lung hit kind of guy, so basically I tried it on there with no build in the chamber, inhaled just air and laughed about how insanely open it was. For dual coil cloud chasers, I'm sure it's great! And it looks perfect on there too. But for a single coil, smallest airhole setting guy like me... it wasn't something that appealed to me.

Intaste has Origen V2 in stock. It's 80 Euros, which translates to about $110. Still cheaper, even with shipping.

I gotta say, i dont know what RipTrippers was talkin about with this RDA.

I got mine last week and i really, really really like it. Great flavor- but given that he had some weird coil build in it who knows why he had a different experience.

At this point, ive tried them all.. Helios, Atomic, Trident, Magma, Quasar, Tobh, Origen...and probably a few more i cant remember. Bottom line is any of them would qualify to be my only device, and it comes down to tiny nitpicks to narrow it down.

Right now, Quasar is my fav because of its solid feel/look, and i like the airflow adjustment on it better than the others. Origen is a solid 2nd place just for the amount of juice it holds. Vape is great. Compared to the Magma (which also has a super high juice capacity) the Origen wins. The magma is just too messy... any time you unscrew that top cap you get juice everywhere.
