On the beauty ring, why not just get one from Captivape or JMK?

I have a Greendot P/P debit Mastercard that I can use on any website I go on that accepts Mastercard. I even have it linked through PP so I can use it paying with PP also.

I didn't find any rings at Captivape, what is JMK?

I'm gonna guess cuz that's $15 or $20 instead of like $1.50, lol
I was kinda bummed I got mine before the version with a ring was available...but I do have one ring, so I'm good...

Yeah, I think I'll live on ok w/o the rings.
Yea I just tried it again, Still no PayPal :-x
They need to get this fixed, they are loosing business. :-x
I really love the beauty ring, and a good price, but without the PayPal option, I don't disagree on not ordering from them. :-x

I got my copy from FT, no beauty ring. Dang this thing is small. Easy enough to put a coil on and wick however the 'AFC' has very much to be desired.

I plan on mounting it on a Pico Squeeze if it ever shows up.

On today's FT page under new arrivals they have one,,about $1.50

How so? Too tight, or what?
If that's what you mean, try fiddling with the wick - there's SO little space in there, that wick positioning can really impact the airflow - use a little less or tuck it off the side, and all of a sudden it's a whole different draw.
I run mine wide open, so that's all I know about the AFC. Well, that and it stays where you set it, and doesn't leak easily...

The airflow ring itself SUCKS. It is wedged between the top and bottom of the CAP. Good luck trying to loosen the parts and SLIGHTLY change the holes used!

I ended up taking the whole cap off, loosening the cap and using a chunk of WIRE to align/hold a selection in place while I tightened it down before reinstalling. Worse design ever! Then again the entire thing is tiny and "minimalist" so there is not much there for anything "fancy".

My copy is built and ready to go with whenever FT delivers a Pico Squeeze or the other two squonker mods I ordered from them.

I'm currently liking my Velocity clone. Single coil built on the upper set of screws. Longish tails dragging the deck. Seems to work.

It's kind of old-school, yeah. AFC a la Magma or Zenith.

I just haven't had trouble with it - I set it full open, tighten down, and it stays there...

I got mine from 3f and i like the air flow control , i find the Magma is more of a pita to adjust than this thing . If you budge the top the air flow ring will easily adjust and it stays exactly where i put it also.

I also keep mine wide open & it's plenty open for me even if packed heavy with wicking .
