Question: Usually with VV or VW comes AMP limits because of the board/switch. I don't see VV or VW being a plus for the orion. Unless the AMP limit was at least 4.5+

Knowing Les and Pailpoe, it will likely be a high amp limit given that the amp limit on the 2.1 electronic switch is like 20 amps. That said, isn't the safe limit of an AW IMR 18350 somewhere around 2.8 amps anyways? (700MAh = .7Ah x 8C = 5.6 amp max discharge / 2 = 2.8 amps)

I don't know about the 18350, but the aw imr 2000 mah I use have a max discharge rate of 8amps and I run a 7amp set up on my GP paps with bliSS (0.6 ohm coil).

I run 1 ohm coil on the Orion with my 18650's, so, 4.1v / 1.0 ohm = 4.1amps (16.81 watts)

On another note, I had no idea the amp limit on the current switch was that high. WOW! :)

I trust that they would do the same for a VV or VW switch now.

I don't think the V2,1 switch is rated 20 amps, more like 4.5. I will check with Pailpoe.
Check VW, one of the 1st threads on the "I Love My Orion" thread has Pailpoe listing it as a 16A mosfet, but I could swear that the 2.0 or 2.1 got bumped to 20A. Or you could check with Les, since I think you're the only one on here who's actually visited him! :)

V2.1 switch is not regulated
V3 is still a secret :)

Oh I've always had this question in my mind; is the switch regulated? Meaning it will fire 3.7V constantly till the battery reaches 3.4V?

On a side note, I got a feeling the VV/VW will be a 3 click switch with LED lights, like an eGo, but Palipoe style
