Had a nice email exchange with Les about the V3. He is having difficulty sourcing manufacture of his switch design. It sounds like that is the only hold up.

Wanted to have a pic handy here of the innovation in variable air flow. :)

And that means it is probably not a Pailpoe switch? Just speculating here...

It was mentioned on VW that it would not be a Pailpoe switch, but not from Les himself. I know there were issues with a steady supply, so that could be part of the reasoning. Pailpoe could have sold a boat load of those vw switches, so I wonder what is up with that. The demand is certainly there.
Agreed. I know I would have bought a few. I figured they were not available because he was holding them back for Les to use in his V3. I could be wrong there based on what we are seeing now.

Well, I have to say, my orion with a single wick still produces just as much if not more than my bliSS dual wick set up. It's really not needed with the Orion. IMHO.

Looks not right with the wick not showing down the tank area. Hope les makes the aircontrol without the knurls. Air control definitely something to look forward to.

DaFish. Yes his intention is to be able to select different air hole diameters to vary the draw. The top cap will not even have a hole in it. Yes, most vape with the airhole right on the wick, and that is the stove pipe. This is unfinished.

The only thing that concerns me is that is a long travel from the tank to the chamber base for joose to travel up a wick. But I will find out, because I am on the list waiting patiently.

Justinred if you look you can see the wick is in the tank area. There are many more pics on VW in Nosmokers corner.

JR, I'm not concerned about wicking. The V1s have further to travel also. Les told me the tube is customizable. I am thinking the air will get pre heated once you've taken a few vapes.

In a sea of same old same gennis, it's nice to see some actual innovation under the hood IMO. :)

Thanks for clearing that up.

I see your point with the long wicking travel, I haven't got my Orion 2.1 in the mail just yet so I do not know how long the tank actually is, but folks that use Mods with a 5ml tank don't seem to have an issue with wicking and I would imagine this v3 Orion is about the same if not shorter distance to the coils as a 5ml tank Mod would be.
