Orion V2 roll call

SO...... I am a little confused and NEVER thought there was so many different kinds of O-rings but does anyone know the best kind for this devise? silicone,Buna-N (Nitrile) EPDM,Silicone,Neoprene and several more just not sure what is the "best" for a tank. and does anyone know a us supplier?

Buna is the ” typical” food safe o ring. Though most of them won't cause any issues.

3-4 wraps.
Draw speed varies to my mood. Typically slow steady 4-5 secs/Sometimes a heavy draw.
Unmodded here. Well at least on the 2.1.

I do the standard 3/4 wrap as well. Will be trying others eventually, but I've only had to wrap three coils so far, and the second one was just to move the wick to the other side in order to line up the intake better.

I've found a slow, steady draw speed to work best, but the length of time varies from three to about 10 seconds--mood and all. Also, I smoked hand-rolled, unfiltered cigs, so my draw speed was slow and long on those as well...

I obtained my v2 third-hand, so while I have personally done no modification to it I received it with a 1.2mm intake and 6.5mm mouthpiece. I don't know that I "need" the mouth-bore that large, but it's definitely distinctive and I know I'd be able to pick mine off a table full of them

I'm really enjoying my v2.1. I have a few Zen's and they provide a different but equally pleasing experience. I kind of treat the Zen's as my workhorse PV's due to the larger tanks and tons of vapor and throat hit they put out. I've taken to putting one of my favorite WTA eliquids (Aroma Apple w/WTA) in my Orion due to the smaller capacity and it becomes more of a "treat". I love the flavor of this particular e-liquid and because I don't vape WTA all the time, I kind of grab the Orion for when I need something a little "extra". I grab a Zenesis when I feel like vaping a ton and making a ton of vapor.

With that said, I think they both have great flavor and solid vapor production, but I do feel they each outperform each other in those areas.

Agreed on the vapor of the zen. I can get close with the Orion's but I have used them for 7 months now. I have yet to best the flavor, my #1 criteria. I hope by the end of summer to have 3-4 European gennis to compare against. Then of course the strata. Good times for genheads.

This too - in 18350 mode it is tiny, especially with the pailpoe switch. If I'm going out for a few hours, the Orion is a great choice. It fits in the little nook of my armrest in my car perfectly.

I will say that I have had it leak. I left it in my glove box once and I came out from dinner an hour or two later and about 1/3 of the tank had spilled out I had left it mostly vertical, but it had shifted some and leaked. Not a huge deal, but I'll make sure it's more secure next time.

Yeah! I am hopefully getting a Hellfire Mini soon (I should be in the next "group") - from what I see they behave somewhat similar due to the smaller chamber in the top cap. I'm really OK with the smaller tank for the most part.

A special vaper is loaning me his Hellfire. Imagine I should have it by the weekend. Pretty stoked to try it. I'm so far down Darren's list it will probably be next year!

I think there is something to be said about smaller tanks wrt wicking. My AYS didn't wick well past 1/2 a tank. I'm not used to having to tip that much. I've heard the Hellfires wick great.

after the last batch about 2 weeks ago he said he was going to take a break or a vacation and when he returns he will try to fill up to #357 on the list, but still awaiting more switches from pailpoe
