Yes the one on top of the washers give it a couple of turns and see if that helps . Some one in this thread suggested to do this and it worked for me. try it and let us know if it worked

Looks like that may have done the trick, I now have three threads showing above the top nut. It's firing without hunting so much it seems.....time will tell. Only hit it a few times so far.

For what it's worth, I have 5 threads showing on my center post and haven't had a single switch or conductivity problem. The thing vapes wonderfully in fact! Been taking it to work every day this week and enjoying the hell out of it!
I have about two threads showing at the top of the positive post that compresses the spring. Is that what your talking about?

I received my new glass tank by terry from ukvapers. The size of the glass tank is not the same as the stock tube from les. To minimize the sanding, I had to use the opposite hole and set up a new coil. I'm not a fan of using the orings to align my top cap and wick. HD is not working by default so change it if you'd like.
I wanted to ran a whole tank of juice but my battery was dying already LOL

Hey all....
I have a V2 I received second hand, nothing wrong with that!
I have since cracked the tank, and while I managed to purchase a glass tank, it is 24mm, and the cap doesn't go down far enough. Not for me anyway. I can't get it lined up close enough to either wick hole.

I currently have a mangled 6ml bottle I managed to get on and get it working.

It's not very pretty, but it's working.
How does one go about "sanding down" a glass tank?
I'm thinking I could still use the 24mm one, if it were shorter.

Or, where can I get the right size in poly?
Thanks.....

Jslick is mr carbon fiber lol looks good bud. You cracked the tank I sent you ?

Yes I did and believe me i wasnt happy about it. I'm not having any luck with tanks at all as that happened the same day I dropped my Zen and busted the glass on that! Terry said he was starting to post the glass ones right before UKV went down. I hope posting is British for I put them in the mail.

The Smok tec Carto tanks work well for tanks also.. You have to cut them down though.

Yes, they are a perfect fit diameter wise but somewhere in between me cracking my Orion tank and me dropping my Zen tank I also cut mine a little too short with my rotary tool. I don't recommend using one to cut it down unless you work very slowly. That's precisely how I ended up stuck with the cut up 6ml bottle. So in one day I managed to kill off 1 Orion tank, 1 zen tank, 1 smoktek carto tank, and about 6" of polyethylene tubing (which I now know is the wrong choice as a replacement as its too flexible and ends up leaking). Not a good vaping day for me on Monday!

i know this is wrong thread and dont mean to hijack it but i have a question. i have a 1.1b that is purring fine with the exception that im getting juice in my mouth and on top of tip. any way to rid this?should i countersink the tip like what my 2.1 has?
I vape 1.0s. I've not had any problems. Before drilling I'd check:
1-is it over wicking/flooding? If so, try a thicker wick.
2-is your coil hot enough to vaporize all the juice?

If you watch your coil with the cap off, you'll see how much vapor is still produced after you stop firing. Or blow back through the cap and watch the puff of vapor come out the inlet. You can adjust your draw accordingly.

Hope that helps.:)

Maybe you want to think about stainless tanks for your Orion. With the build quality, they really become little tanks. :D

link please?

Siam Mods - Tank Parts

Choose the regular size & free o ring set. You will have to cut/grind them down. They are the same ID 16mm, OD 20mm as stock tanks. No cracking or breaking. Vape any juice you like. Once you know you device well, it really isn't necessary to see the level or color IMO.
