I think the most important thing is knowing what you intend to get out of the phone, and whether you have issues with apples proprietary shenanigans or not. I personally don't use my Iphone for anything but medical applications, the e
juice calculator, and calling/texting/emailing. If you're like me, it probably won't matter much. If you're into billions of apps, video games, and syncing things across comp-phone with respect to calenders and documents and what not, or even music for that matter, it may be an issue. And then you have to consider whether you want an open platform (android) or would be willing to jailbreak your Iphone.
