I find a pigeon is much more reliable or smoke signals that works to sure the little guy gets tired on long distance calls and he might get dropped by a hawk now and then.
Thanks Psych, yeah leaning towards verizon, lots of happy people I know have that carrier here.
I have a crappy old flip phone,But my son broke his Blackberry and I got the iphone 3 free when I renewed my contract and he loves it.Its not the newest one,but it was free because its the older model. He likes it a lot better than the Blackberry. Thats all i have to say.
Kanza, I work right across the street from the Sprint campus.
I don't know, like Nancy said it's a big can of worms. You've got your people with different carrier love, you've got iPhone people, and you've got Android people. I have always had Samsung phones (except for the one before this which was a piece of junk) and I've loved them all. This phone (Samsung Galaxy S2) was easy to use right out of the box and is awesome. I looked when my contract was up and everyone was higher than T-Mobile. But we don't use a massive amount of minutes either so I guess that makes a difference too, what kind of plan you need.
We're all just probably making it harder for you.
I have a Droid Pro. I pay 80 bucks a month. Unlimited talk and text to anyone with a Verizon Cell phone (which is most people I know). I think 500 text messages and a certain amount of minutes....unlimited internet
access.
If you're still considering Verizon, I strongly recommend the Casio Commando. Shockproof, waterproof, dustproof, and Android. I haven't had any reason to complain for 6 months now, and the Casio line of phones have been great to me over the years.
But then you are stuck with android 2.1 and a phone with little to no development going on.

Nancy you gotta get the galaxy s2!
So I've had my little samsung phone from Metro for awhile and I like the no contract, 45$ a month deal, but I'm looking to upgrade. Have 2 co-workers at work help me out with customers questions that I was stumped on, and bam! they were able to answer thanks to their phones.
So all of you folks that love your smartiepants phones (and plans *gulp*) I would love to hear your opinions!
I've become burned out looking at all the reviews on Cnet, too much info to process, TIA![]()
