If you actually took the time to read the OP, you'd notice that you're in a thread complaining about a mod costing $50 in one place, and $75 in another place. It was a rant about store owners...not cheap mods vs. high end mods. That didn't happen until you got here.
its ok cause quality aslo plays apart in this as well cause when you go buy or looking a device that you like you check the price of it as well..and say you yourself is it worth it and is it in my budget.. And what store has it then you look around..its different than a car if you talking mileage or if it has no mileage..but only if its the same car with the same mileage and quality..and sold at two different prices..

The VS rDNA 40 was supposed to be the bees knees & mine glitched to hell IMMEDIATELY after the warranty ran out. VS being such an **cough** outstanding **cough** company told me I had to spend $25 on the maintenance kit in order to get it fixed.

My flawed device supposedly came from new stock with all board issues having been corrected. So NO!! Paying more definitely doesn't mean better....just means I spent more for better JUNK!!!

Note 5!!!
I read a post awhile back where you said a bout the price doesn't matter. I never own a povari but had a couple of vamos... It's very debatable that are some devices worth the price you paying and rather or not the retailer selling them for the reasonable price after the purchase from the suppliers...

authentic devices more the issue with prices. Clone prices are so what it is what it is..but I have seen a store charge 24.99 for a mutation x v4 for a clone when you can purchase and authentic one for I think was 35.00.. In this case why not buy authentic than a clone its a couple dollars difference..and if its not in my budget I would wait till I get the the extra dollars..but at the same time clones suppose to be a money saver not a money eater..so some stores do over price for devices that's not worth the price rather its good quality or bad quality..

To some, the extra $10 doesn't equal a better device. And in some cases, they're right. In some cases, they're not.
It is nice to have the option. At times, I'll pay a bit more for something to support a certain vender. There's people who've proven themselves trustworthy and who will stand behind their merchandise. To me, it makes sense to support them.
Stores are allowed to charge whatever they want for something. It's up to you to do the research and find the best device and the best service FOR YOU. It's not like the olden days when you had to drive all over hell and back to price shop. If some store is price gouging, simply don't shop there. For every one of those places , there's 10 more charging reasonable prices. The low volume stores don't necessarily get the same deals the bigger guys get. And some just want to rip you off. They will self destruct.

2 packs a day proudly advocating for pall mall for 15 years, would it count if i supported marlboro for the previous 7 years ?
VS / Wismec designed in US assembled in china, one is overpriced one is not, how does this relate to advocacy ? Would it matter if I supported Jaybo ?

None of this has anything to do with advocacy. My statement was a slap on an earlier, and arguably more ridiculous post.

I only use temp control these days...consistency is what im after

I own a TreeBox AUD$79 (bought nearly a month ago, after 2 disastrous dodgy VTC Minis) and the last week an SX Mini M Class AUD$250 (luckily i got my SX Mini M second hand AUD$100)

Wide price difference between the two in retail

Is there a wide difference between the vape of the two...not really, i pretty much dialled my SX Mini M in to give me the same vape as the TreeBox

The accuracy and stability of the TreeBox i discovered as i used it after buying

The accuracy and stability of the SX Mini M i had read about and bought because of that.

Sometimes you can spend AUD$79 and be pleasantly surprised as you go about using and discovering it yourself - when i got mine, there was nothing around about them, so my opinion wasnt affected by outside commentary. I bought it on its abilities and specs.

Sometimes you can then spend AUD$250 (or AUD$100) and be reassured that all you read was true

To those wanting an undramatic stable and relatively accurate tc every vape the same every time you press the button vape, what would i recommend? TreeBox, its probably the most overlooked and underappreciated newly released little mod.

Do i like my SX Mini M Class?, absolutely - love it, its a different form factor, a bit more sturdy, rugged and forgiving, but the vape is near as makes no difference the same as my TreeBox.

Do i love my TreeBox more? Maybe a little, because maybe it surprised me more (and especially after the VTC Mini drama) at just how good some mods are, and how well some of them operate and offer features, or even the stability, that other mod makers dont have in their overpriced boxes at twice, or three times the price...

It really all depends on what you buy. But none of the cheap mods can touch the "Good" expensive mods.

Depends on what you call "Expensive" too.
I buy what I call "mid-range" gear. (Innokin, Kanger, Aspire...)
Not the cheapest stuff on the market, but not the most expensive, either.
They've all delivered solid quality, and more power, and performance than I've ever used (even as I graduated from eGos to mid-power mods, to sub-ohming) at what I consider to be fair prices.

For anyone that used to smoke and is in sales or business in general and knows what ROI and TCO are, a $100 or $200 mod isn't necessarily expensive at all on the grand scheme of things. In fact, after smoking a pack a day for 30 years, anything under $300 I spend on vaping a month actually is saving me money. I spend nowhere near $300/mo BTW.

I know I can buy a used iStick 20w for next to nothing, but I can easily justify buying a few "overpriced" mods that I enjoy using based on being able to completely quit smoking thanks to vaping. My Snow Wolf, RX200 and Kanger Subox cost me under $200 total excluding tanks/coils. Again, I didn't buy super expensive, but I didn't go cheap either.

No point getting into a Kia vs. BMW arguement, but to each their own.

I cannot speak for other people but when I really want something, price be damned. My issue with VS as a company means I would never but anything else from them ever again. I wouldn't care if they were the last vendor standing.

There's a huge difference to me in what a throw-away item is.
Under $50 throw away.
Above $100 except the vendor to fix their flawed device & not use it as a means to gouge the customer!
