Not sure if Imeo posted it here but I read it on the Greek forum from Imeo that Penelope will have engraved wings and Proteus will have engraved the serial #, Wings and the GG logo.
That should wet you appetite somewhat

I did this on page 59, should I wait to see my name and number added before I contact the vendor to give them a heads up to look for it ?

I am trying to stop the copiers by putting GG logo and wings on PP guys. Serials are much better for this job, thats why Proteus and all GG series from now on will have serials. Maybe Penelope will have its serial too

I have notice that there are exact copies of almost all GG constructions. I have seen Iatties and UFS that are identical. So I have to try to stop letting people buy those copies thinking that they buy the original product

Imeo.. Not to worry too much about those copier. They can't have the same materials as u are creating. The cost will be very high and they won't able to make $$. All those copier will tried very hard to get cheap materiel and that will be come a bad product. And copier will no able to take care the product after sales service like what you are doing.

Important is the buyer (Consumer). If no buyer wanna to buy copier product that will be a serious headache for the copier.

Why not have all GG owner educate the future buyer not to buy fake GG product?

Myself believe in material of the product and also the most important parts is after Sale service. like imeo...

I don't think I've seen too many direct ripoffs of GG products around lately since all the commotion over the Russian site that was producing actual copies of the GGTS+UFS (looked like sht though). The newest things I've seen copied are the AVS (made out of aluminum with a clear window, quality is ok, but not 1/2 as good as original nickel AVS) and the collection tank assembly, which is also alum and looks pretty crappy. You really can't do any better than the real thing, no question about it.

That was not a site, it was one guy selling copies. I've tried to stop him, but with no sucsess unfortunatelly.. Now he's selling titanium ggts+ufs, but still worse then Imeos. I held one in my hands- wery bad threads, everything sharp and not polished. That happens when people want to make some easy money, but he's not selling a lot with a repairables+variable wattage mods trend on our forum.
