I dont get upset with people rox. I would do worse if I was in their position!
Maybe people asking the same question about "when" several times might bother you imeo and others BUT i think its people trying to have pockets ready to buy also the fact of the pre-order (serial reservation) :)

I dont bother myself with those people Paulie. They will not stay on market for a long time. I also wonder about their service. But if a man is bad he will have a bad service too. And the only he wants in money. If you dont give money to him he will not be able to sell it. If anyone wants to deal with thiefs he can do it no problem.

I like how some people are knocking Imeo because he "complains" how his ideas and designs are being copied. This is outright theft of someone's intellectual property.

This is astonishing. Outright copy and trying to beat Imeo with boost module. It is very wise to engrave and number everything from now on. If GG was my product, Id go wild as would anyone else.

I agree, but do you want copyright information covering your GG stuff? The present design seems plenty to me, deeper is OK, but more and more quickly becomes tacky. A simple trademark should be sufficient.
buy from your distributor, acquaintances, or friends if you need assurance.

It kind of sickens me if people are copying that close to Imeo's work.

While taking an established idea and making a better product even somewhat similar is healthy practice straight copying for resale is abhorrent

I supose that's more simple to make a copy with some changes (could be) But who did it never be at leader position. For me more better to have the product from leader original product. That's why I'm waiting. Fake always be a fake... Long time ago I bought the fake of Fog and later compare it with original. I have no words to describe it. But for now fake it's not a option for me.

Indeed roxxette, I want to have the cash ready and pay as soon as possible. This serial reservation is a one of a kind opportunity made possible lmeo, major, kami and the resellers (sorry if I forgot the mention anyone else who is part in this effort).
We, buyers who reserved, need to hold our end of the bargain. Pay prompt for what you have ordered. Let's hope this will be a success and maybe we will have an other opportunity to reserve when lmeo releases other new projects. If the whole thing goes wrong by buyers not paying prompt the resellers will be reluctant to have an other go.
Like major said, business is business.

I'd like to see imeo start putting a "maker's mark" on EVERY single part he produces, but that'd be pretty difficult for him to do. A simple greek symbol Theta would be PERFECT.

Here's an example of a makers mark for those who don't know:

Personally I think that is a bit over the top but that is just me. 15 stamps on metal pieces alone for GGTS is a bit overkill IMHO (not including plastics or springs.) Not including 8 on UFS and 9876432123456789 on ODY.

Who made your maker's mark? I'm in the market for one.

Imeo always is moving forward, no time to look back. If you can't tell a real GG, or decide that you want something from someone who copies an original idea, then that's you're business. It isn't going to be the same, no matter what color of lipstick you put on a pig, it's still a pig. If you want the real McCoy, with the real customer service, you better get your GG from an authorized dealer. If you decide to buy a Rolex from some guy in trench coat, don't be surprised if it isn't a Rolex.

The more pictures that get posted of this copycat's work, the more people are going to see it, and hence the more exposure he gets. Good or bad exposure doesn't matter, it's a proven fact, controversy fuels sales.
