Understandably so. Did you ship one to them Herb? If so update us on the turnaround time.

I'm terrified to ship mine to them at this point after hearing one person say he shipped his months ago and still hasn't heard anything , that just won't work for me. The changing of the warranty terms has me ready to kill as it is , waiting for a little more feedback .

They take my mod hostage forgetaboutit lol, that Asmodus factory will take a shelling and experience "shock and awe" on a scale that would make Hiroshima and Nagasaki seem like a New years party favor popper.

Well, when I first got the IPV2, it wouldn't output less than 3.6 Volts... now, it seems to be bypassing the regulator when battery can handle the load. It wasn't doing that before...

Unless I'm crazy..well, duh, but I had a 0.2 Ohm build on it first, but I have a 0.3 Ohm build on here now..

I'm contacting elev8vape about warranty now..maybe I can avoid charges with them.

Are you still having to pay for asmodous if you were part of the original preorder?

Yup, doesn't matter when you bought it and what the original warranty terms said , Asmodus makes changes whenever they see fit. Rumor has it that the Sig 100 watt box came with a one year warranty , it was recently changed to 180 days , i would not be surprised in the least if Asmodus is handling warranty for this one as well .

It Certainly sounds like it .

I believe the sigelei was just mislabeled on some dealers sites. I think the owners book always said 6mths. I could be mistaken but when I was figuring out which box mod I was going to buy I ran into this discrepancy of warranty info with the Sig.

Ok...all elev8vape preorder customers.

Send it to them. I just got a phone call...so they're sending me a new mod, first.. and I'm getting the return packaging to send my mod back to them.:)

I feel special, but I kept them up to date when they were getting bashed on forums.

They will take care of your shipping..:) No asmodous.

I had to add a black plume veil, and a orchid v3&4(will be in stock next week).

ALSO

They are about to get their IPV3's in stock..no preorder. I will be supporting elev8vape whenever possible.. I'm getting a black IPV3.

I can't believe it... I'm just going to get a new IPV2. !!!!! So stoked...:)

Thank you elev8vape!

I'll keep you all informed on IPV3 status.

Well, I asked if I needed to keep my mouth shut..cuz I was in constant communication with them about about the old thread(s).

I'm sure elev8vape will take anyone's mod at this moment of time-I was told that yesterday... but they'll have all the emails you sent to them.. while waiting on your preorder.

Edit- lol.. I'm biting my tongue to not mouth off in the evolv technology thread..lol...the new dna 40 will be superior to anything else...and chasing watts is pointless..I just need a temperature gauge.

Lol.yeah....Not really...:)

I went on a rant cuz I didn't want to argue in that thread..

I'd use a doble m2h over omicron for specific tests though...if you know what those are, that'd give you a reference. I have to be involved with new technology for my family's businesses..and I vape..so easy to treat it like work. Lol.

Why get aggravated over it , it's just individual opinions . Who cares if someone else thinks something very differently , trying to convince others their wrong is hopeless , their going to believe what they believe and there's not much anybody can do about it .

This is small stuff in the grand scheme of things , you know what they say "don't sweat the small stuff".

You just tried the lg's...;)

Efest 2100 mAh 30 Amp-(didn't lie on that - Sony vtc4)

Do not get the efest 20 Amp. It may be a 6 Amp cell(at the most).

I personally don't like the vtc5..they get hot around 20Amps..heat is not good for circuits, let alone a battery. I've never gotten a vtc4 hot..

Samsung 25r- there's a reason protovapor are using them now for their mods(even after the vtc5 stops being under shortages),

LG he2/efest 30 Amp- LG HE2 18650 Battery (1, 2 or 4 Pack) $8.25-$30.50 | GOTSMOK.COM <<<this is an old one.

Gotsmok just put an ad up for a cell with the same ratings as lg.. I'm curious if they're different.. MXJO 18650 Battery $9.93 | GOTSMOK.COM

Vtc4 two pack:
US18650VTC4 (2 Pack) $17.09 | GOTSMOK.COM

OK..I found the following batteries on Fasttech:

LG ICR18650HE2 3.6V 2500mAh Rechargeable Li-Ion Batteries - 20A continuous discharge / 35A peak discharge

JETBeam NI18650A IMR18650 3.6V 2000mAh Rechargeable Li-Ion Batteries-maximum discharge 30A / 7.2WH

which one is better for the IPV2 and similar devices? The JETBeam has Nitecore written on it. Does Nitecore produce good batteries?

Personally I have been using the Samsung 25R batteries and they seem to work just fine with a great price too! :)
