Anyone know what time this will be ending? I might be able to make it now, but I will have work the next day. So I was thinking of heading out around 10 pm and I should be home around midnight. Plenty of time to get some sleep before work.

Matt and I will probably be ducking out around 10 as well to get back to Philly at a decent hour. Is there anything interesting to do around Hazleton if we get there early and make a day trip out of this?

I am working until 5:00 unfortunately. Then coming to the meet. There is not much in Hazleton except coal museum tours or stuff like that. You can however drive like 20 min north and go to Wilkes barre if you would like. Some nice things there or about 15 min south you can go to Jim Thorpe and hit the town, shops, food, and train station. Train ride is pretty nice.

Ok one new additional prize just in. As I said before there is a NASCAR race in the lockbox on Sunday. A generous member has decided to send me some tickets to the race as a raffle prize or bidding prize. This will be the Race on Sunday. He stated the seats are 22nd from the track. If you are staying and considering doing something on Sunday!!! It will be a great prize!!! Hope this just makes people want to come out more!!!

Remember awesome vendors donated awesome prizes. Please visit them. If you purchase from them they ask that you place "NEPA VAPORS MEETUP" in the comment section of the check out so they know you are a part of the PAVC. We had some additional samples bs prizes donate and more coming in as I type. Here are our donators:

•litecigusa.net
•Puresmoker.com
•Eliquidplanet.com
•Diyflavorshack.com
•Cignot.com
•Vaprlife.com

JT is there a RSVP deadline for this event...
I have to be in Harrisburg in the AM and would like to go to the event after that but it will be dependent on getting a room somewhere as I will not be fit to drive back to the southern end of the state after (and with the race in town and my procrastination, that may be difficult to find)

Thanks for everything you have done to put this together .... sounds like it will be a great event !!

Ooooh coal museums!

Errr...

Yea maybe we'll check out Jim Thorpe. I haven't traveled much out of Philly in the two years that I've been here.

That $120 is divided by 4 people...so it's actually 30 bucks for a day of volleyball and free beer after (you know when we lose and the consolation prize is beer) :)

Yeah but the tournament fee is $120.00 - in this part of Pa. that equals about:
120 draft beers.
40 or so bottles.
60 quarts of Yuengling.
:)
I will even buy you a beer so add 1 to any of the above.

so divide my list by 4 then add 1.:laugh:

hey to be honest if I could - I would rather drink beer and play volleyball all day with pretty college girls unfortunately those days are about 30 years past for me - whatever you decide enjoy your day :)

Actually right outside Hazelton is Eckley Miners village kind of an interesting tour - where they filmed the movie The Molly Maguires.
Eckley Miner's Village

There are also Casinos within about 45 minutes.

oh and if your into guns there is a nice outdoor shooting range set up on some coal company lands right outside of St Clair about 25 minutes south.

I know Goodprophets is in Akron - isn't that down by Lititz? Kind of a long drive for you. Wish I knew a shortcut for you.

Thanks
