After all of the fighting that took place years ago to prevent the FDA from treating electronic cigarettes as medical devices, there is now a company that has actually raised the money to finalize development of a treatment product and program, and eventually apply to have their product treated as an NRT product. This is a long-established company which is not based in the United States, and it is fairly well-known for making a very high quality line of electronic cigarette juice. Whether or not this is a good thing for the electronic cigarette industry is a very interesting question, and this should be a very interesting process to follow.
