4 strands of 26ga nichrome, 'Round Braid' same as what is used for making paracord bracelets..
not so much in the picture's but to the naked eye this wire looks kinda like chain.
with 5wraps on 2mm id the build is 0.11Ω and i'd say is probably not worth doing with less heat as the ramp up will be slow, i will prob try another build with 4 wraps of this wire to get the ohms down even further but i'm using a mod with two 18650 batteries in parallel so please dont venture this low unless you have the equipment as it might end in tears. Always test and double check your builds
Or you could do this build with 28ga or 32ga which i will also test out soon
