PayPal Fees

Hope this is the right place for this question.
Many of the adds state buyer is responsible for PayPal fees. I don't really have a problem with this if the item is something I want and the price is fair.
My issue is that I will not gift the payment, so how do I know how much to add into the price?

I just figured this out yesterday, thanks to the help of a seller . Here is how paypal works:
2.9% + $0.30 USD. Took this off of their web site.

Now if you have your bank account hooked up to your paypal account then:
It's always free to send money to friends and family when you use your PayPal balance or bank account. Fees apply only if the sender uses a credit or debit card, or if you receive any payment for goods or services

I totally agree with you as far as not gifting payment as you have no recourse if the sell goes sour... Hope this helped

I have a low balance checking account linked to Paypal, no fees so far, they transfer right out. When I saw the fee on using a CC, stopped using it with Paypal.
