I finally got the dreaded notice on Tuesday morning PayPal doesn't want to be friends with me anymore . I was given the choice remove the atomizers and cartomizers or be shut down . I will be going with a standard merchant account . I have had the account ready for this day for many years but its still going to be a pain for me . I may take a week or two of no custom orders until I get use to the new system .

You were smart to have a Plan B.

It is a necessary inconvenience though and I imagine the changeover will be a little stressful.

It's really too bad, I find paying for things via Paypal to be very convenient for me. They are pretty dumb to turn down all the $$ in fees that they would be making from the ecig industry.

Robert, I'm sure your customers will be patient during your changeover......you are the best customer service person in the biz, not to mention having an A+ product. Well, no sense singing your praises, everyone here already knows about you.

I may end up doing that. I really can't ditch Paypal, as much as I am opposed to how they are treating the ecig industry, because there are a number of items I buy off Ebay as well as sell stuff I've bought when it doesn't fit me or my lifestyle, etc.

Secret: I have a "thing" for vintage Chacos, they are the only thing that my feet like, and Chacos to me are like REOs......I just seem to collect them. LOL Ebay is my source.

Out here in the national forest, and because I am also a swimmer, I spend all my time in hiking sandals that are good for creeks and canoeing and stuff, so I can't live without them....they love the water as much as I do. LOL

Please keep us informed on when the changes are finalized. I am wanting to buy a Reo (my 1st) very soon, I'm very excited hopefully in the next couple weeks... I've been reading and planning on what I want.
I have PayPal and I will keep it. But I'm ok using a CC if I have to get my first Reo. LP Reo Grand (((Love)))
I'm so excited to get one but it maybe Christmas before I can... *hint* maybe you'll have a metallic pink OMG!! one by that time... But the metallic purple is one I'm really wanting can't wait!!!

Gotta admit, I used my paypal "bill me later" for my VVW... I probably wouldn't own it if it hadn't been for that... Because of the weird ways I make my income, I'm always flat broke and maxed out in mid-April to the end of May. -- When I get the itch again and want to buy another REO, I'll be happy to use a CC, send a postal M.O., a cashiers check, mail you gold dust... whatever's good for you is fine with me.

Ouch - that hurts us germans (maybe other europeans) quite a bit.

Credit cards are not as common here as they are in the US and we are used to paying for ecig related stuff with paypal who take the money straight from our bank accounts but still have a level of protection.

The other common payment method here is direct money transfer - but that is not available for non-european shops.

Using a credit (actually I use a debit) card here means transferring money from my bank account to the credit card first - very inconvenient.
