PayPal had some advantages but nothing that another merchant account can't match. One aspect comes to mind is shipping is nice to just basically click to purchase without entering addresses etc. for the buyer and spitting out shipping labels for the merchant but Im sure other services can handle that too.
What PP is doing, is targeting suppliers across the board. I have made some Ebay orders and have been royally screwed because of PP when they shut someone down. I am so happy to see that Rob got the letter, and the opportunity to switch. In a lot of cases paypal just shuts it all down and if you payed, but havent recieved merch you are out the money, or vice versa if the seller hasnt been paid, but they shipped the merch they are screwed.

You know what irks me the absolute most, and Im not sure if its changed as I don't buy them, but you can still buy tobacco and tobacco merchandise with paypal, Vuse, Marbs attempt at an ecig, can be directly purchased through paypal.What a crook why should PP care what we the consumer spends our money on? Just goes to show how much freedom we have left.
