I just noticed that I can pay for e-cigs and juice from Heaven Gifts using Paypal. I thought we couldn't use Paypal for these things. Have things changed?

Edit: Forgot to ask....I wanted to order 2 bottles of juice for $7 from Heaven Gifts but it looked like their shipping charge was 21 dollars! Is that what USD21 means on their checkout page?

Yes, the shipping is high but Heavengifts has impressive, nearly 1/3 less prices on product...factor that in. I'd read great reviews here regarding this vendor with the suggestion to use them for large orders...I did. Everything was shipped tight and email questions answered promptly and with respect...I'd definitely give them a shot!

Yes, they haven't been fair with their selective discrimination of merchants. Makes you wonder doesn't it?

Kevin

It's not "selective" IMO. There are no legal issues with e-cigs in the UK, so no reason for paypal to punish UK vendors.

Same for any other countries where e-cig use is not an issue. Paypal are just covering their backs in the current US climate.

If the US okays e-cigs, you can bet your life that PP will sudenly become the e-cig merchants best pals again (obviously, any e-cig merchant who has been badly treated by them will probably tell them to shove it).

Good for you Scott58. Doesn't ebay own paypal? Then it just stands to reason, ebay discriminates unfairly too. A very unfair place to play if you're a seller.

I wasn't aware of that, but no matter I don't use them either. If we don't start hitting these people where they live with our wallets we get whatever they dish out to us. We keep letting things like this happen and pretty soon there will be no rights at all for anyone. What a great day that will be and everyone will wonder what happened.

I had recently ordered from a couple of suppliers that use pay pal. They invoiced me after my order was placed and requested pay pal payment from me directly. They listed goods on the invoice and I sent my payment to their email from my pay pal account.

I know this would be cheaper for them as they would not have to pay the 2.5% or per transaction charge. If pay pal notices this I am sure they will stop this also.
