I'm one of those folks that likes long videos instead of the short 5 minute stuff that some game reviewers do, but indeed PB is a bit long at times. I don't necessarily mind the reviews that he does when they're on topic with something that I'm interested in, however, I've seen him where he does a review video and inserts a few other things into the video, those usually turn me off from watching any further into the video.

RiP on the other hand is to me rather interesting to watch, he can be quite animated and it's been a kick to watch his style grow over time.

I can't say that I'm a "fan" of either of them in the sense of being a fan of somebody in motion pictures but I like to watch their videos when there on a product that I'm investigating.

Not only do I love them, but one of my parrots thinks he's totally hot, lol! She watches them with me and makes hormonal sounds the entire time :D

That is hilarious. You should send him a video of her doing that watching one of his reviews. Who knows, maybe she can be one of his guest stars.

I like Phil s reviews. Very informative and thorough. He also seems to give his honest opinion.

Rip on the other hand is way too much of a hot dog. He builds good coils, but I think his opinion is biased by weather he gets stuff free from the manufacturer or not. I also noticed that I don't see any responses from him on his reviews, and I think I read on his page that if someone has a question to contact his assistant.

his assistant?

Seriously?

It's good to see this thread still living! I never imagined it still would be when I first put it up! I wonder if Phil's had a chance to stop by as I haven't been able to keep up with it! ;) I don't get to watch videos as much as I used to, and I have MORE devices that I need, probably enough for at least 5 people to vape on WITH options, more than I can even use, with over half of them either not being used, or used little. I tend to watch build videos more than anything now.

The good part of PBusardo's videos is that he seems very much an honest reviewer. He takes the time to analyze what is going on with the equipment and offers proof of why a mod will or won't perform as compared to others.

The bad part of PBusardo's videos is that I always seem to want another new toy by the end of the video..

That's kind of the impression I got from his reviews as well but I'll have no way of really knowing one way or another. There are many youtubers that I watched their product review and instantly think that they were swayed to give the product a better review because they were given the item, as well as they might be hoping to get other product manufacturers to give them items too. But RiP, I don't know, I'm having a harder time reading that from him but there have been times that I've questioned that in my mind.

Assistant huh? Reminds me of a game reviewer that has millions of subscribers and has "handlers" and assistants to deal with the masses. I suppose if they're doing it for business then they'd need an assistant or handlers etc if they're making public appearances etc like some game tubers do. And of course youtube videos that are monetized can be big business when you have millions of subscribers so...

Phil on the other hand... It seems he lets the manufacturers know what he doesn't like about their product, I only have to wonder if he isn't sometimes pulling punches to well... Who knows. Only the reviewer I suppose.

When I want a e-cig product review that has some factual information to back it up (i.e. graphs, charts etc) then I do check to see if Phil has put one out long before I'm willing to watch any of the "Yo, Yo Mutha *(****&(*" type of characters on youtube. I'm far more interested in real world statistics, facts and figures than I am about Joe Blowby telling me that he likes a product and look at how much vapor I can produce from it.
