Phil's video's are the first place I check when looking into something new . Phil rocks !
I generally only watch you tube reviews if I'm interested in the product. Lets face it Mod and juice reviews are fairly useless, everyone has their own tastes and experiences. I like Grimm's videos mostly because he's someone I share interests with and if enjoys something I most likely will too, I don't get all uppity if he burps or if his audio isn't spot on. I can't watch mister coil builder, edits and dumb catchphrases don't interest me. I've seen his earlier stuff and it was fine then all of the sudden he's been adding crack to his dripper. I've watched a few of Phil's, he's alright I guess a bit more on the techy side stuff I'm not really interested in, plus a bunch of inside jokes you apparently have to watch all his videos to get.
Yes and no. I'll agree that juice reviews don't do anything for me because taste is opinion, but for mods, pointing out things like button operation/adjustment and thread quality I feel are very useful to the vaping community.
RIP Trippers to me is the highes quality IMO. Taught me everything I know from when he was doing protanks then moving on forward and going SUPER detail on devices, and not the detail you don't need to know. Very honest and to the point. How I like it. Plus, his juice line I absolutley love. Phil, I like his videos but no reason to be 40+ mins long and doesn't review devices I'd look at. But I don't hate em. The only one I can't stand and no hate but, I'd rather watch grass grow is Indoorsmokers.
Yeah Man, No offence but I don't think Innokin/Evolv or Provape or Zen HOH are going to be calling a Rip Trippers type for their exclusive interviews...He has become a caricature of his former self. No, They call in the Big Gun for those interviews and exclusives...PBUSARDO. But hey- To each his own. I prefer an in depth review with all the tech stuff . Oscilloscopes kinda turn me on. Plus Busardo can build a mean coil too. It's not that hard really.
As I watched Phil's Provari P3 video last night my wife asked if he got paid for doing those videos. I never thought about it, but I searched out his bio and found that his day job is in audio/video engineering. Vaping and making videos about vaping and hardware is his hobby. He's good at it and he provides a valuable service to vapers everywhere. I'm sure he gets to keep whatever they send him to review, but that would be expected in his field.

Its info I don't need to know. I want to the point, super honest and the market I'm in for devices. Phil does 0 devices I will use or buy. I wouldn't know a damn thing about coil builds so detailed and just what I need. That's why there are different videos for different ppl. I'm not a fan of Grim either and I know I'll get hate. But same as phil, nothing I'd use, and annoys me. But that's my opinion. So in end run every one has their own thing and that's why there is that option to watch what you want and like. Suck my mod is nearing a kinda RIP like style that I like. I want to the point and honest opinion and I'll take my own from it.
I like Phil's videos. He tries to give a complete look at what he's reviewing and gives an honest opinion. Rip Tripper's are good for "how to" make a coil. ss mesh wick, etc.
And high end device market. He does tons of coil builds. But his market for reviews is for high end devices. Not Kanger (he did in the past when it just came out back in 2012, but if you go through his videos now, its only high end devices only.) or basic things. But usually 150$+ range devices.
I like SMM (Matt n Vanessa) but they're a lot lighter on the editing & theatrics...I watch Grimm but only if it's something I'm into. I check out Twisted for his Clone reviews and Cause I like to watch him drop stuff and curse it out. Indoor smokers is cool with me even though he mostly does newbie gear. Somebody needs to do it so might as well be him. I guess with Rip I just prefer his older style videos. When they were slower and quieter. My wife saw Me watching Rips cloud chasing 101 video and asked if he was the Duck Dynasty Guy....Too funny huh.
Each his own, different market for different ppl. I'm not going to keep dragging it out. There's videos for everyone, chose what you like. I'm out.

I got to say I love PB's video's. He's always honest, informative, and I think he genuinely cares about people and the vaping community. And he's nice and funny to boot.
I love pbusardo, his reviews are in depth and honest. I also like Rip, Grimm, Twisted and occasionally Indoorsmokers. It all depends on what I need to know. I choose accordingly. Overall, I'd say Phil is probably the most informative and conducts himself in a professional manner. He is who we need as a responsible "face" for our industry.
I actually really enjoy them despite their lengthiness. But then again that's one of the things that makes them so informative and helpful!
The funny thing and what drove me to put up this post is that since I'm subscribed to his videos on Youtube as well as RIP Trip and few other less known reviewers. My 1 yr daughter also has her Baby Einstein videos on there as well. I recently discovered just how much SHE likes him too, LOL!
Both my daughter and I are NOT morning people ha!If I immediately get her out of her crib after a some kisses and snuggles she will usually go around "fussing" and having meltdowns! I discovered quite accidentily though that if she watches one of her Baby Einstein videos, (She LOVES them ALL!) which usually are around 30-45 minutes she's GOOD to go! I usually know it's over because I can hear her "telling" me what she thinks about them and that my vaping videos have started playing!
So yeah, after that first video were both ready for each other and the world,MOST days haha, now here's where this all ties in with PBusardo's vids if you hadn't already seen this coming. Evidently whatever I'm subscribed to just randomly plays next however that works, I'm not really sure what determines the rotation but most of the time it will be one of her videos a few of my vaping videos by different peoples one of hers etc.
So lately I've noticed she's been content FAR longer than ordinarily but by that time I'm awake enough and have attended to the things I needed to do and go in to check on her and get her out. The times that she goes longer I've noticed one thing in common...PBusardo LOL! It's a shame that my toddler knows how to wrap a micro coil better than I do, knows the difference between a ninja and a dragon coil, and which guage kanthal and what strength SS mesh works best in a Patriot! Heck she know's about practically ALL the latest mods haha!
One things for sure, she sure seems to like Pbusardo, but then again I kind of like him too! I get a lot out of his videos and am thankful for what he does for the vaping community! But then again I'm pretty long winded myself!
P.S I not one for being "star struck" but as much of an icon and fixture Phil and RIP are, I think it would be HILLARIOUS to have a emoticon for each! RIP with his beard and crazy eyes would be easy, but I'm sure Phil's wouldn't be hard! LOL
I like his videos... some of them are hilarous (aka: crab juice), some are interesting and inventive (aka: deadliest catch and his visit to the Northwestern and his visit to Matt Bradley's vape shop)... some are super informative.
I like a lot of vape tube streams, but his is definately one of the ones I have subscribed to.

Love em even more after I met him. He really cares about health and helping people and it is super pressure to be an icon of any kind.
Phil is the country gentleman of vaping. Rip is the Wild Child. Both have their place in the field and both do a good job at what they do. I'd rather see Phil do the extensive introduction of a new mod. Rip Trippers is the king of coil winds, IMO.
