Hello, so I got my v3 but I'm having issues setting it up. I did my standard 28g 8 wrap micro coil which comes out to about .8ohm put it on the v3 but the ohm meter reads either --- or 2.5ohm and above...I took the whole thing apart, tightened everything down...still does the same thing...thanks for any info
I'm sorry but microcoils gives me better flavor. I don't care about vapors neither. But be sure when there is more vapor it means the amount of flavor particles is bigger which means better flavor. Unless of course your vapor comes from burning garbage on the coils

Friend microcoil does not necessary mean subohm. I rarely use subohm. I have a microcoil running at 3 ohms on a vv with only 13 watts.
Just a clarification so that people don't mix the 2 concepts

Mine should be here tomorrow, can't wait. Bishop, what type of wire are you planning on using?
Kanthol 25 gauge Micro coils very sub ohm like .4 ohms by 7 wraps
There is a guy in a German forum also with wicking problems. Either he gets gurgeling or dry hits... Till now I failed to help him.
I never had a problem with my new rebuildable parts and especially the Penelope V3 is what I love!
My favorite coil is made of two strands of AWG 27 NiCr, winded parallel to a microcoil - 6 wraps or so (two wires parallel) - this coil kicks ...!Tons of flavor, a decent throat hit and lots of heat is what I get here
